The rice paper was made right in front of us, the staff bent over backwards to accommodate our request for cold white wine (not common in Hanoi) and the food was fantastic! Really enjoyed the lemongrass skewers, really cheap eat with great service!! Total was 79,000 VND for two filling meals. Equiv of less than $6AUD. Highly recommend for north Vietnamese food- a different experience and taste to what you would find in Saigon.

Rice pancakes are made fresh and they definitely taste it! The owner came out and told us about his mother and her special recipe and the process for making them It was overall a really enjoyable experience. It is in a nice restaurant setting. Definitely worth seeking out as the pancakes have a different texture than most others you will find in town.

Great spot to watch fresh rice noodle ( Banh Cuon ) be made and eat them with delicious fillings such as egg, mushrooms, banana, etc. Host was super welcoming to us foreign western guests with good english. Great experience!

Sweet lady making some great Banh cuon here. She steams those pancakes right in front of you like you’ve coming over for lunch at her pad. Polite service, cute setting, and delicious food. Highly recommend!

the place is so lovely and the food was amazing, but also the service was very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay there and visited it two times because I felt so comfortable there and certainly because of the good food.

Lee and Kii were wonderful servers,very helpful and we enjoyed talking with them both. The food was super tasty and great value. Best rice rolls we've had in Vietnam!

Food was amazing, location was strategic, staff were attentively helpful, place was clean, i think i found a new little piece of heaven in Hanoi. The food presentation and taste live up to its standard of quality. I love how the food looked, simple yet surprisingly fulfilling. There are two entrances to the cute cafe. The staff were chatty, very curious, and funny. Lee was especially friendly to our group, even mistook my friends as Koreans and Chinese while i apparently have the face of a Southeast Asian. We had a good laugh. Uok was also nice, doing his best to make sure we feel comfortable and even explaining the food to us. When i go back to Hanoi, i’ll drop by here again (maybe this time their new menus will be available by then).

The banh cuon was amazing. Service was quick. Limited seating, but there was no wait when I visited. Hospitable staff and a great meal at very reasonable price. If you want authentic banh cuon in Hanoi, visit this place.
