Location very nice but completely overpriced and food by far more worth then in other restaurants in the city center

Great lakeside spot.

I tried the restaurant once and after a few days I went back for a second time. The Chinese style dishes seemed to be the best, especially the steamed grouper fish which was great. The staff couldn't really speak English but I managed to get what I wanted. I did notice a mosquito or two outside on the terrace but I'm lucky in that I very rarely get bitten. If I was in Da Lat again I would go back for the grouper fish!

Bad wine = bad time

The thing about charging western prices is that you have to deliver western quality. Came to this beautifully situated restaurant for a nice cold glass of wine overlooking the lake. The white wine was warm and upon asking why, we were told that vietnamese white wine is served warm (a bit of a fib really, as they serve it ice cold in Hoi An). We then explained that this was wine from Chile, this time we are told “if you want it cold you have to buy a bottle”. No thanks guys, we shall opt for an anonymous and scathing trip advisor review instead. Viva la resistance. Regards, Jones

Terrible Service and food

The location of this hotel is good with full view of the lake, but the goodness stopped there. Food is disgusting and I cant finish my meal. Staffs and managers were there but they just didn't care, it took ages to get food served on the table and I have to call them several times then I brought food with a bad attititude. Avoid at all cost

Appalling is not strong enough

Wow I wish there was no star this place does not deserve one star. I do wish I had looked at trip advisor before being taken in by the location This place and staff are beyond terrible dreadful, warm beer with a glass of ice. Only got one lot of cutlery between 2 people told the staff just ignored us, food 3 times over priced for potion size no flavour little choice. The warm beer is twice the price of cold beer every where else. Also they play the most ridiculous annoying music I have ever heard sounds like a child’s computer game blasting out. AVOID AVOID AVOID Our worst experience in Vietnam does the town and country a dis service someone please take this dreadful place over and offer something to match its location.

Went for lunch. Only good thing about this cafe is the location on the lake. Food was very poor quality. You would get better from street vendors. Overpriced for the size of serving and the poor quality. We had to do our own order as the waitress spoke no English at all and kept stuffing up the order even though we ordered by pointing to the items on the menu and telling her the quantity in Vietnamese. Took her iPad and did it for her. Beer was hit and only served with a glass of ice to cool it which is common in Vietnam but also a good way to get sick from contaminated ice at sub standard venues. Find another place to eat.

Good food & view

Just enjoyed a late lunch at Thanh Thuy (18.01.20). Had not visited earlier as we saw a few bad reviews however, when our intended restaurant was closed for Tet preparations we walked round the corner and are glad we did so. Pork with aubergine in a pot was great as was chicken with morning glory. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Terrible service, awful food and overcharged

If you are traveling to Dalat and looking for a place to dine out, please avoid this place at all costs! We originally planned on having the Lunar New Year's dinner at "Le Chalet Dalat", but when we got there just to find it was closed during the Tet holiday, so we came here. I swear it's one of the worst decisions we've ever made. Very expensive and horrible food, everything tastes just like crap, we can't even finish any dish we ordered. Apparently their chef doesn't know how to cook Chinese food at all. The portions were really small compared to the price, the table was sticky and dirty. When we finished our dinner, I flagged a passing waitress down to asked for our check, but she didn't speak any English, she just ran away to find someone who can speak English. After a VERY long time waiting, a waiter finally arrived, I asked him if I could pay by UnionPay because I had a dual currency credit card(Visa and UnionPay), he said"YES, OF COURSE", but when I got the receipt, it's paid by Visa..... It seems they don't listen to what their customers ask for. The location and view on the lake are nice though, probably the only point. I WOULD HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant!!!

Bad food, forgot 2 meals, expenive

Forgot to check Tripadvisor before we webtv in.. big mistake. Food was bad, we were 5 people, but only 3 got their food served. They didnt speak any english, and a cola cost 40,000 each. Hope we dont get food poisioning.
