We went based on the reviews and weren't disappointed. The roasted pork tofu was perfectly marinated and had amazing texture. We also had the garlic vegetables with rice. Not as garlicky as some dishes we've had in the country but still delicious. Served with a soup that was easily the best we've had in Vietnam. Lovely stuff.

The variety of meat substitutes is great, we got the 'braised pork' tofu and it was so tasty and looked so much like real pork it was insane. The satay rice was very disappointing though, didn't taste like satay in the slightest and the tofu was hard and chewy, we didn't finish the dish. We did go back again though... More

We choosed this restaurant because it looks big by its capacious space. When we arrived there at lunch time, our group is 26 pax. We asked if we could group many tables to make 1-2 big one for our group, one staff without uniform was angry at us and scolded out loud "you should not do this and that", many... More

If you are tired of meat, this place is your best choice. The room is spacious with two stories, we just stayed on the ground floor so didn't know what it looked like upstairs. Food was definitely our tastes, with big portions and reasonable prices. Thai noodle is a must try

We went two times to eat here, the food was really good. Big portions and very reasonably priced. The spring rolls were awesome, as was the iced Coco drink.

I was hoping that Hoa Sen would become a favourite as I enjoy traditional vegetarian food in Vietnam and have tried plenty of good ones in my travels over the last two weeks. This resturant was so disappointing, I couldn't even finish eating the rice and soup. The fried cauliflower dish was good but came with a bottled sauce- no... More

good value vegetarian food. very cheap tofu bahn my (12.000d) for breakfast or lunch, large selection of dishes for dinner. reccommend the fake beef dish, nicely marinated sizzling gluten thingies.

Happy I found this restaurant. There's lots and lots of variety, and not just sauté vegetables and fried rice. They even have a full page dedicated to rice options. It's a mix between Chinese and Vietnamese food, with some Malaysian and Thai styles too. Their hot pots are really popular. The food is too salty for me though and I... More

Usually vegetarian restaurants are really good and serve delicious, fresh food. However, this was a really really disappointing experience. After reading other reviews, we thought it sounded pretty good! I ordered the fried aubergine with ginger sauce, and my girlfriend ordered the tofu in tomato sauce. I was not expecting deep fried aubergine in thick, doughnut batter! What a shame,... More
