I was thinking of going to Uzbekistan so was happy to see an Uzbek restaurant to try on my first post-COVID weekend break from Bangkok. The one doubt I had was that I'm vegetarian. So we stopped to look at the menu and a very helpful woman came out to see if we had questions, which of course we did. It turns out she's the owner (with her husband) so she knew the menu, and which items could be made without meat. My (non-veg) boyfriend and I easily identified more menu items than we could possibly eat so we readily entered. A customer already inside smiled at us as we entered and said we made a great choice of restaurant. This was a hint that this was not the usual restaurant experience. Indeed, the owner came over to talk to us quite a bit, and she gave me valuable advice about Uzbekistan, patiently tolerating my questions, some of which must have sounded ignorant. In fact, when she asked if we wanted dessert, we pointed to another table and said theirs looked good. She looked at them and looked at us and showed us the pictures of the dessert, none of which resembled what had arrived at the neighbouring table. She then got the big menu and pointed to a salad with fish and beetroot (looked like berries and cream from afar!), and we all had a laugh! When other customers came in, they talked to each other across tables. What a friendly place where people are made to feel like family! We left feeling so full that we didn't eat much the following day. It's wonderful to be able to travel with our tastebuds without having to leave Thailand!!

Very nice owner with a lot of effort on our first visit. We received a complimentary taste of his BBQ chicken and a cabbage roll, both very tasty. We ordered the BBQ lamb skewers, my partner the lamb chunks and I the minced lamb. Both were great, but I got the better choice as our waiter recommended :) Very nice seasoning and tasty dipping sauce. We also ordered the tomato salad and the red beet root salad. Great combination with the BBQ lamb.
We sure come back!

Big portions, owners and workers really nice service was fast and friendly. Will be back for sure. They have a really good hot red sauce paste that you can mix with the cream sauce for dips and topping

Having read the reviews and even stopped by to check the menu prior to our visit, were really disappointed. The staff were not friendly, possibly because we are not Russian, and not interested in making us feel welcome. We ordered Chicken Kiev and Beef with Mushrooms plus a large Chang Beer. After a considerable time, five to ten minutes, I went and asked if we could please have the beer. This eventually arrived but not with chilled glasses, which one normally gets in most decent restaurants. The food finally arrived, the chips on Irene's plate were underneath the beef and mushrooms, so all soggy and spoilt. The beef was really chewy. My chicken kiev was tough and the batter not as crispy as it should be. All in all a most disappointing experience. How on earth this restaurant is rated as number seven in Pattaya is unbelievable. Not recommended.

The food did not make any impression, we hoped to try Uzbek cuisine, but it is probably difficult to reproduce it in Thailand.
I ordered dumplings with broth + orama and my wife meat with mushrooms.
The dumplings were brought quickly enough and only because the waiter made a mistake and brought us another table's order. Soon the orama arrived, and then there was a long wait for the meat, so we had to ask several times how long we would have to wait. And in the end, when I finished eating my two dishes, my wife’s order was brought.
We sat outside and four waiters moved back and forth in front of customers to carry plates from the back kitchen to the table and dirty plates back, creating a lot of confusion.
Prices are medium/high. Beer costs 120 baht++.
They do not accept payment by any cards, Thai or international.

I love this restaurant. The staff is overwhelmingly friendly and their food is magnificent. I had the Lamb skewers both minced and fillet were excellent.
Their dumplings (beef and lamb) were very well made and very delicious,
I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is the first time I've posted a negative review, but it was necessary because the poor service and the table in the room spoil the delicious and exceptional cuisine of this restaurant, sad! Before the coronavirus I had eaten at this restaurant in Pattaya when it was next to the Big C, before it changed location. The owner was very nice and the food was excellent, tonight a few years later on vacation in Pattaya, excited to come back, I returned again with my wife to this restaurant all happy to enjoy this wonderful cuisine, but unfortunately we were badly received by a waiter pulling a face as soon as we arrived who sat us inside on a table with a dirty tablecloth. When I called him to clean the table, always this same waiter pulled a face and showed it well, when I asked to clean the tablecloth of the table which was stained with grease, he just cleaned it with his empty hand. I then asked him to clean it with soap and alcohol, he moved his head and disappeared and just before he insisted that it was clean. I then called the other waiters, who after insisting ended up with difficulty changing the tablecloth only when I complained saying that he did not want to do it and I showed them that the tablecloth on the table is dirty and that I do not like it at all because I have already asked twice for it to be changed. After insisting they changed the tablecloth and ended up being correct. But this spoiled the atmosphere of our evening, and my wife was angry with me because I reported to the other waiters the bad behavior of the first waiter and that I simply wanted to eat on a clean table. My wife, angry to have seen me angry because of this, got up to leave the place and I then followed her. Bad atmosphere established because of the initial refusal to clean the table. Service to watch because this delicious cuisine could not be tasted. Angry because before I had liked this place and I wanted to eat and taste this cuisine which is remarkable but we could not do it unfortunately because of this catastrophic service which ruined our holiday evening and prevented us from eating in this restaurant!

Early evening visit to this newly built complex in pattaya.
A smaller building with a larger bar area outside.
I ordered mince mutton kebabs with rye bread and 3 different drinks and it came to 480 baht, good value
Service was good and the meal was delivered within 30 minutes.
Quality was reasonable but there were only two other parties there early evening when I visited.

Great! We found a place where the child finally ate! Chicken noodle soup. Delicious, large portion. We ordered dumplings and manti. Delicious too! The dishes arrived quickly.
There are some nuances, but minor:
The waiter accidentally put his hand into a plate of sour cream when he was putting the dish on the table. He apologized, took the sour cream, but never brought a new one. 🙂
The mop, bucket and technical supplies at the entrance could be hidden from view. Sitting at a table opposite the door, it’s not very pleasant to see all this. A mini reception desk would be nice there.
A pile of overturned chairs in the corner of the restaurant also does not add coziness.
Otherwise everything is ok.

The magnificent Uzbek and Russian cuisine, I specifically stayed near the restaurant to have dinner there every day. Olivier salad is my choice.
The owner of the restaurant, who is also the chef, always pays attention to the guests.

Went as a moderately sized group which they could accommodate. Some of the food was OK and tasty (e.g. the soups and dumplings) but some of the group ordered kebabs and found them quite bland and portion size small for the cost.

The service is great and the restaurant is clean and looks cool. The food is so good I keep coming back, it's better than 'The Last Supper'. At one my family and I just kept ordering in for 2 weeks straight for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Honestly if you want some really good and authentic food you should go to this restaurant. I would confifidently say its one of the best restaurants I visited after my 9 years of living in pattaya.

Great to be back in Thailand after 2 years away and we were looking forward to visiting past favourite restaurants. Caravan was in our top 10 list and we visited last night at the new venue. It is smaller, but not cramped, more cosy. The food was as good as we remembered, it really is the best Uzbek and Russian food in the area. We tried the stuffed vegetables for the first time - mouth watering, will definitely be having again. The real surprise was desert.... not bring a sweet tooth I normally skip, but the lovely owner recommended that I try Russian honey cake. Oh WOW! Totally to die for, do glad she suggested it. I will be looking up recipes as soon as I get back to the UK!

Never expected that I'd come across an Uzbrk restaurant in Pattaya, but it was one of the best ones I've tried outside Central Asia.
They have an interesting mixture of Korean, Uzbek and Russian cuisines and all look very good. I've tried only dolma, kebab, pilaf and they were just awesome.
I was told that they'd deliver to Bangkok every Thursday for orders over 1,000Baht. Can't expect better than that!

My family and I always eat at the Caravan restaurant, everything is very tasty!!!!!!Pleasant atmosphere!!! Convenient parking.
We often order delivery, the small dumplings are very tasty.
Pleasant, responsive hostess.
