Went there with a friend who goes regularly and I was very pleased we did. The staff were pleasant and friendly, but not over the top. My food was very good, having the prawn cocktail, served English style with bread and butter and then I had the Roast Pork which was very good, came with Yorkshire Pudding and apple sauce... More

This is a very popular restaurant, so it’s wise to reserve a table. The name has changed from Café Ritz to Café John. The food is British and there is no Thai food on the menu. Service was efficient and the food arrived promptly. I started with a prawn cocktail, then red snapper with cream and prawn sauce, and finished... More

The well-known Café Ritz is now officially the Café John, but to regular clients it will always be the Café Ritz in the Jomtien Complex! The menu never varies with a choice of at least 20 starters, 20 main curses and 20 sweet courses. All come freshly prepared from the kitchen when ready! This is real value for money at... More

Having had previously what I considered two poor meals, steak and kidney pie and steak and mushroom pie, I went for the liver and bacon. This I thought was OK but definitely smaller portions although the vegetables were the usual amount. When I asked the others in our party their view, they all agreed that the portions had become smaller... More

One of the better places in the Gay district, very busy with a fair choice of food etc. I had baked style chicken which was moist and full of flavor.

Hidden away in a complex mainly filled with bars this great little restaurant is being run by a Brit and his Thai wife. The owner does all the front of house side of things and was very friendly and looked after us well. We came here on Xmas day for the set meal and the food was very good quality... More

3 courses for £6.75 REALLY? Yes and it is still 3 very good courses, yes the service is sometimes haphazard but they do have the very best intentions. It is not a huge restaurant and a reservation is advised. You could be pleasantly surprised or you may get annoyed with the service. I myself don't mind waiting for food, I'm... More
