I liked a lot this place. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Prices are ok and food really good. Menu is big so can order a lot of different options. I will come back for sure.

Found this restaurant on trip advisor, many thanks this was such a great find. Good food and friendly staff, not overly expensive would recommend this place
Great experience overall. Finding this place was a very pleasant surprise especially in COVID time when most places are struggling to keep good quality on their menu. I've had the non vegetarian thali and it was the best I've ever had. Everything was perfectly cooked....The service was excellent too and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend this place which is also very reasonably priced for its level of quality.More
While covid has shuttered 99% of the Indian restaurants in Pattaya, Alibaba has managed to keep their doors open. They continue to serve clean good tasting Indian food at acceptable price points. We ordered the Madras Curry, Jeera Aloo, Pilau Rice, Chanamasalla and Naan Bread....All were cooked to perfection! And tasted great! Alibaba continues to serve up the tasty Indian grub. We will always return when the palette craves some good Indian food.More
With out question That was the worst curry I have ever had, OK The Rice was sticky rice and NOT Plain rice as stated. I cannot eat sticky rise its disgusting that’s why i never eat Thai food. The curry was so hot after a...few mouth fulls my mouth was on fire. Its not a Vindaloo or Madras its a Tikka Masala and should be mild and full of favour. The Nann bread was sliced and cut and was also very nasty. I could eat the meal because i hate sticky rice, it was to hot for my tastebuds I repeat this was the worst curry i have ever had in the world not just PattayaMore
Our family of 6 dined here, it was hands down our beat experience at an Indian restaurant!! Everything was perfect from good to service. Special mention for Rogan Josh and bitter chicken! We will definitely be back
Alibaba Tandoori & Curry Restaurant review in Pattaya (Indian). Not recommended food but best to try for yourself. (Vegetarian and Vegan Friendly Restaurant that also services omnivores.) 1/13-14 Central Pattaya Klang Road, Pattaya 20150 Thailand On the south side of Central Pattaya Road about ½...block east of Beach Road 038-361-620 Listed in the Facebook group: Vegetarian or Vegan Friendly Restaurants in Pattaya in Thailand & Beyond This restaurant’s video review is listed along with many others at the YouTube Channel named Kelly Veg Friendly staff A/C Nicely decorated inside They claim to be the most famous Indian restaurant in Pattaya. I ask famous for what? Famous for the ridiculously high priced menu items? Famous for mediocre food? Famous for the highest priced Thali in Pattaya (maybe in the world!). 590 baht + 17% = 690 baht total!!! Thali in Pattaya are typically priced between 120 baht to 250 baht. Yes Alibaba thali is bigger than most places but not big enough to warrant such a crazy price. Famous for charging vat and a forced service charge adding 17% to your bill. They even had the nerve to charge 10% service charge when I came in for take-way, so no wait-staff needed, no dishes dirtied. I had eaten there about 5 years ago before I knew any better and got their thali. Almost all the dishes in it were so salty I could barely eat them. Two reasons I thought I would try them again: One is because of their show of big hearted generosity. They have been giving out free food to people that are out of work and have no money because of corona. Two is because they were one of the closest places still open for take-away during the corona virus shut down. Sure enough I was faced with many items on their menu being overpriced just like in the past but I decided to try their food again feeling that I would be okay with paying the high prices because their profits were going to feed the hungry. Navrattan Korma and Aloo Gobhi were both priced way above the average. Yellow Dal was priced at an average amount. Results: Navrattan Korma 275b = in the good to very good range in taste – fresh veggies not from frozen, carrot, peas, green beans, cauliflower, cashews and paneer – medium/large size Aloo Gobhi 185b = okay taste but would never order again – 50/50 of potato and cauliflower – medium sized Yellow Dahl 120b = great flavor with a nice blend of finely diced veggies mixed in – medium/large serving A nice touch was that they added a high quality brownie to my order gratuitously. Personally I do not enjoy brownies but anyone that likes brownies would really enjoy this one. Some of their other vegetarian offerings: Paneers 275b to 295b Curries 170b to 275b Dahls 120b to 170b Mushroom Korma 275b Potato Korma 275b Mutter Paneer 295b Shahi Paneer 290b Palak Paneer 275b Aloo Jeera 170b Paneer Pakora 255b Veggie Biryani 185b Poppadum 70b Onion Bhaji 120b Samosa 120b Veggie Pakora 120b 11am to 12am NOTE: My reviews are honest and not coerced by the restaurants. In the last month we have eaten at least seven curries and the one we enjoyed last night at the Alibaba is the best so far, by a mile. We shared a Chicken Tikka Madras, pilau rice, onion bhaji and a garlic nan, plenty of...food for the two of us, plus two beers. The food was excellent, very tasty and spicy and the onion bhaji was very good. The total bill came to 870 baht, slightly more than I was expecting as service and VAT are added to the price shown in the menu. Still worth it however, as the meal was very good.More
Colleague of mine took us here for dinner. Alibaba will be my favorite Indian Restaurant in Pattaya from now on. Food was awesome!! The atmosphere is very Indian and Authentic.
The curry here is European price tag though not the generous portion. Tandoori roti is the smallest I’ve seen in the world. Pulao rice is not affordable either. Everything here we have to order double portion for the portion we get elsewhere in Pattaya. Best...onion Bhaji in Pattaya. Most curry tend to be on the sweet side. Much sweeter than next door. Not very good cooking the okra. Overdone and slimy. Indian knows how to cook okra well. Not here. Mutton curry is more than £10. Chicken & Vegetables is £8. Rice £5. Roti £5. A meal for 3 easily 2500bt. Service is Top notch. Waiters are well dressed.More
Authentic Indian freshly prepared where you can taste the individual spices ,not swimming in Ghee as in so-called Indian Bangladeshi restaurants Try the Tandoori chicken masala succulent chicken in a rich medium hot sauce together with the Bombay Aloo King prawn balti madras also excellent...Excellent value for money and probably the best one in the whole of Pattaya.More
A friend of mine took me here for lunch. I had the sampler plate small, which was a lot of food. My friend had the vegetarian plate sampler also great. Next time in Pattaya I’ll be back
Can’t fault this excellent Indian Restraunt in Pattaya. We were taken by a friend who highly recommended it and it was excellent with fantastic service and very well priced. All in all, superb 👌
best in the city the alibaba every time is same I eat earlier also the food always awesome both veg and non veg with very nice interiors
This is the second time we have visited Alibaba. I was impressed by how quickly the food was prepared. We had two vegetarian dishes and garlic nan. It was very well cooked and they seem to have the idea of what "spicy" means. (In contrast,...some places serve up bland sludge that some Indian restaurateurs assume is pleasing the tourists!). There was nothing to complain about here except for when I paid. Our bill came to 480 baht so I handed over 580 meaning to get rid of some small change. I had to quite forcefully demand my 100 baht change when none appeared. This might have been a misunderstanding on the part of the waitress assuming I was tipping her. Be warned, don't make my mistake, give the exact money and save yourself the trouble!More
