First time here, and found it to be a great little place with good views. The food was good and filling, and the staff were quite friendly, especially the owner who came over for a chat. Will come back here again👍👍
After reading the good reviews, we decided to go here for evening beers, whilst watching the fabulous sunset, with unobstructed views over the sea.
It's such a friendly place, with reasonably priced beer, although we didn't have any food, so can't comment.
The owners are...super helpful, even bringing insect repellent to each table at dusk.
My son realised he'd left his drone next to our table, but only after we'd been gone from there for at least an hour, so we called Beryl and thankfully, they had found it and were keeping it safe for us!
I'd definitely recommend.More
Really cozy and cool place, great view to the sea, and the food is amazing. The menu isn’t so big which gives it a home feeling. The fish is a little bit expensive, but overall a really good place to visit
A typical Thai ramshackle of a restaurant!
The food was really delicious but the portion sizes were overwhelming & we really wanted to try a few dishes (as they were such good value) but hated the amount we wasted.
Staff & owner were friendly &...so helpful.More
Fantastic, friendly, family run bar/restaurant where everyone pitches in. It is very lay back but your on holidays. Great margaritas and pina coladers. Cold Beers and everything else your would to drink. Great views as you relax and enjoy. Food is fresh home made Thai....The Veg Spring roll are a must (10 on a plate) 100bt. The prawn balls are whole king prawns in very thin batter and comes with plum and sweet chilli sauces (12 on a plate) 200bt. We also had a 2 whole fish between 4 of us, perfectly cooked. We went back a few times over the 10 days we were there and each time was the same as the first, could not fault a thing. The owner is a Bob Marley look alike and the friendlyist guy you could meet. His sister does alot of the waitressing. It had been raining a bit while we were there and he offered to drive us back to our resort. Not many restaurants offer that! It is about a 15min walk from The Passage Resort. The Restaurant is open every day lunch and Dinner. They don't answer the phone much to book but do yourself a favour and go, you will not regret it.More
Great bar on the beach away from everything, stumbled across it after reading a few reviews and thought we would try it for a drink, we were charmed by the place and the people, seriously great margaritas! We were going for dinner afterwards and tried...to order a taxi through them, they instead gave us a lift all the way into town, really kind! So the following day we went back for lunch and the food was great, alongside the margaritas! Thoroughly recommend Beryl’s Bar for a very laid back place to drink and eat and chill, very casual with great cooking and service with care and a smile!!More
Everything was perfect. The staff were lovely, welcomed us and spoke very good English. The food and service were fantastic with huge, well presented and delicious meals. Very good value for money, I would definitely go back again.
This is the type of bar you dream about finding when travelling in Asia. A little out of the way with fantastic views and great food and service. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the sunset. The food is very good and...there is a large selection on the menu. We loved coming back so that we could try all the different dishes. The staff are very friendly and the service is good.More
Awesome place to come for great food, service and if you are lucky a sunset.
This is not a fast food cafe, but the menu choice is great and varied. Quality tastes even better. Looks like a castaway shack, but great atmosphere.
We found Beryl’s...Bar four nights ago and have eaten here for three of those four nights.
Owner and staff are great. Highly recommend
Location is off the beaten track which is part of its charm. Look for sign off the main road for Mai Samui Resort and go to the end of the road. Make sure you come to Beryl’s BarMore
Avoid this place. The manager is rude and doesn't care that you might have to wait nearly an hour for your food..he says I've been doing this for 14 years. Translated he is still upsetting customers in exactly the same way & not learning. There...are many places with great food in Samui why waste time here? For reference we ordered a pad Thai that would haven normally taken 5 mins and took much longer. I rarely leave reviews except when I really feel something is that bad or that good👍More
Greeted by a giant Santa Claus made us realise this place was going to be special!
Homemade vegetable spring rolls and 2 Gin & Tonics whilst watching the sun go down - fabulous!
The owner and his staff are so welcoming , Loved this place...- will defo go back !More
After a short walk down a track that appeared to be going nowhere we arrived at a lovely little restaurant. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing at very reasonable prices. Pad Thai for 70 Baht! And the best I have ever tasted....This place is a must!More
Beryl Bar is an amazing place. We went there 5 times when staying at Mai Samui, about 200m away. The owner, Piak, is very friendly and welcoming. The food is very tasty, however at times the food took a while to come out. The shakes...tasted really good, would definitely recommend trying those. Overall, amazing place and location.More
