The prices at Grill India and the most EXPENSIVE of the MOST EXPENSIVE Indian restaurant in Chiangmai, Grill of India was recommended by a friend for delicious food and I checked out their reviews and menu online, which is photographed sideways, making it difficult to...read. When I arrived at the restaurant I reviewed their menu only to observe the prices on every item was Baht 40 to Baht 60 higher than the menu you see on this website. What a professionally DECEITFUL way to bait customer to the restaurant...??? The prices at Grill India and the most EXPENSIVE of the MOST EXPENSIVE Indian restaurant in Chiangmai, As I had arrived at Grill of India, I thought, I might as well checkout the food. I ordered Chicken Saag, that was loaded with spinach and inblended was fried chicken that was NOT freshly cooked. DECEPTION again...!!! The Onion Naan looked nice but it was filled with very spicy pepper powdered and onion mix. The taste of the Onion Naan dominated the Chicken Saag. Frankly, a meal cannot be enjoyed with very spicy ingredients. Overall, a very DECEITFUL way to bait customer based on attractive photos and more DECEITFUL to switch prices on the website versus in-house prices. Frustrating to pay 'full price' for a "chicken" vindaloo to find it heavily disguised with potato mixed. If I wanted 'potato vindaloo' I guess I could have ordered that. Obviously potato costs (almost) nothing to bulk up the portion but this kind of trickery is...not well received. Think twice.More

We had a quick and efficient dinner, onion naan, fish curry, a potato cauliflower dish, and mango lassi. The mango lassi was served sweetened and warm but ice was delivered upon request. The potato tasted like it had been cooked a day prior and the...cauliflower was completely overcooked. The fish curry was satisfactory. They do not take credit cards. Overall, average at best mostly because of the staff’s fine service.More

Decent indian restaurant with many vegetarian options. Masala was amazing and gailc nan was good enough! But I ordered chicken masala and they got me vegie one that has felafel in it but still liked it. More
