We just moved into this neighborhood so we are keen to check out local top quality eateries. We were delighted to ‘discover’ Passionate Chiang Mai. The friendly welcome and the very professional wait staff were excellent but it’s the quality of the food which really...stands out. This restaurant prides itself on testing and refining its recipes so that everything offered is as good as it can be. Price is very reasonable considering the quality. We look forward to Passionate Chiang Mai becoming a firm favourite of ours.More

This is more of a thank you note than a review. It was a great pleasure and luckiness to meet Somchai and Ashley during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. They are the owners of the restaurant. They are very nice people and helped me a lot...when I was in Chiangmai. Besides, the food is very nice. I really miss the noodles and dumplings.More

Of all the Chinese restaurants I have visited in Chiang Mai, this one definitely ranks within my top 3 best Chinese restaurants in Chiang Mai. Not only is the food very good, also the service is excellent and very friendly.

We ordered pineapple fry rice, sweet and sour fish, fry vegetable. All of them were tasty and fresh. Was not cheap compared with local food but worth it considering the environment was clean, good service and yummy food.

There are not that much choice of good international food in this area of the city, this restaurant is one of. I had a lunch there. I ordered a bit too much, but I know that portions in Chinese restaurants are to share and was...planning on taking away part for later. I had fried egg rice, claypot beef and tofu and cabbage soup. All dishes tasted authentic enough (as a person who lives in China for few years), huge and as there were not many people in the afternoon I got it all pretty quick for fresh made ones. They ask you on the choice of water if you want it warm or cold. It's sweet, warm water is great for digestion and I miss it in Thailand. I didn't think it was pricy as the portions were big. Will definately come againMore

I really enjoyed our meal. We requested very spicy, which it was not, but when we added a little spice of our own it was superb. We ordered a chicken dish and a pork dish and both were served with fresh vegetables and were prepared...very well. The setting is a little antiseptic, but that is one of the many things that sets it apart from Thai restaurants in the same price range. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a really farang style Thai restaurant.More

Very good food, service and atmosphere. We went in to try the Chili Crab, but they were out, so we ended up having pork trotters, stir fried cauliflower, egg fried rice, and potato strips (酸辣土豆丝) along with a large Chang Beer and a sprite. Total...bill was 842 THB which was a bit high for the food, but it was all very tasty. We will likely go back and try again and would recommend this establishment.More
