I came here last year when I spent a month in Chiang Mai a number of times and so today when we came back to the city for a race, it was a perfect opportunity to return. Firstly the place was much busier but the...staff were just as welcoming and super friendly and the service was as excellent as before. We both had the Parmesan scrambled eggs and the food was amazingly high quality - the tomato side salad was juicy and sweet - and the sourdough was fresh and elastic as it should be. The final reason for the 5 stars is of course price and value for money. The price is exceptionally cheap for the amount and quality of the ingredients - you won’t find a breakfast to challenge this in Chiang Mai or Bangkok and I have looked. We will definitely return to Chiang Mai for The Larder more than the sights 🤩More

Food is good , taste is ok, price is not quite friendly but the food portion is also large. Restaurant is quite small. Staff service is good. Anyway, worth to try.

Amazing gluten free bread! The avocado open sandwich was delicious! Lovely friendly staff too. They also have dairy free milks ☺️

BEST toast in town so far. We ordered 3 toasts with avocado (Recommended), Hummus with grilled Bell peppers, and Giant grilled Shitake. All are so good. They have gluten-free bread too if you are allergic to it like me :) gluten-free bread is good as...sourdough ( my fav! but I bearly eat it now because of allergies). They bought it from Flour Flour, the bread shop in CM. You can go to buy a loaf from them if you want.More

I have visited this place several times. It seems like every time I travel to Chiangmai, this place is always in my list to visit. The place is nice and cozy. There are variety of open sandwich options for you. My favorite is smoked salmon...with extra Avocado. The coffee is average.More

We had breakfast here recently and found the it to be pretty good, though it was a bit more expensive than a few other places we’d been to. It’s not a large cafe and the furniture a bit on the small side, with slightly uncomfortable...stools (a bit of a strain on elderly backs!). The staff, though, were quite polite and helpful and the service quick and efficient. Good to know that they have skim milk and gluten-free options.More

People rave about this place so we finally made it there. Backless stools make for uncomfortable seating, felt quite rushed so maybe they don't want us to get too comfy. Free water top-up at regular intervals, as soon as a plate or cup is empty...it is whisked away( I actaully wanted more coffee)! Attractive staff who are constantly on their phones although service was attentive enough. 2 eggs, a rasher of good thick bacon with a sausage & a cup of coffee was 330baht. Don't think I will go back there as there are many other good places around.More

You could make the best western food in town ( by the reviews you paid to get). But your true attitude of being snooty will shine out and customers will feel how you are unauthentic and not the good people. I hope Chiang Mai to...be nice and fill with kind people, not like these money greed owner and mediocre western food .... The owner said in their social media that they did not care the locals. So Locals would not recommend this place as well.More

We have lived in chiang Mai 3.5 years and there is nothing in the city that compares to The Larder and their exquisite selection of breakfasts, salads and open faced sandwiches, coffees, teas and smoothies! They do it all-GREAT! The ingredients are first rate, presentation,...execution and service all awesome! Their baked goodies are sublime! Incredible skill and technique! I am a card carrying foodie, I know good food! Maybe the prices are a Little more than usual but the quality and quantity more than justify the price. Don’t miss this sumptuous experience! But if you just want fried eggs and toast you might want to pass.More

On our annual visit to Chiangmai, my wife and I never fail to enjoy breakfast at this well hidden-cafe that serves up creative and tasty breakfasts. Toast with butter and jam accompanied by a deliciously prepared scrambled egg, laced with arugula...and doused down with strong...coffee. A perfect start to perk you up! There are other equally delicious breakfast choices on their menu, of course. Over the years, we observed from our visits, we have been served by their revolving young team of waiters and waitresses. They are all helpful and most of them speak English, which is helpful, given that their clientele are mostly English-speaking tourists. Due to the bad air pollution, on this visit, Larder cafe was unusually empty, so we had the luxury of choosing where to sit, an.enjoy our breakfast in peace and quiet on this occasion.More

Well, no wonder. They have avocado toast, a hipster favorite in California. Modern, clean interior with AIR CONDITIONING was so welcome on this hot, muggy Chiang Mai day.

Well worth a visit if you don't mind spending the dough. A coffee alone is around 95 baht! But it was the best coffee I had in a while. Great ingredients and cooking. Food was fab. Service is lovely. I just think its slightly overpriced...for what it is.More
