I think I'm only jealous we don't have something like this at home but, this place is too trendy for it's own good. The music, first and foremost, is amazing. The musicians play with heart and this is far from "background music" that jazz is...More

Sitting on small stools, spilling out onto the street and surrounded by locals and travellers alike, we took in the sounds of young talented musicians absolutely nailing jazz standards in both English and Thai. Cold beers and a view of the remains of the ancient...More

Jazz at the Gate. Nice music and relaxed setting. Food is average but the music is good. Younger crowd than Boy Blue Bar

Unpretentious jazz bar playing actually a variety of decent music. Can buy beer from 7/11 and stand on street if you are short.

There are several live music venues in the city. Many offer competent cover bands but this is certainly the best. No cover charge, reasonably priced drinks - and great live music. It’s not trad jazz though, more pop and rock interpretations. Eightish till midnight.

While there are a few places to listen to live music in Chiang Mai, this place had the best ambiance. Two bands usually play per night, and even though this place has jazz in the name..they aren’t exclusive to just jazz. The night I went,...More
