My absolute favorite khao soi spot in the entire world. The spot is unassuming, but the flavors are the best I have ever tasted. Would absolutely recommend to everyone who visits.

One of my main reasons to visit Chiang Mai was to eat Khao Soi. Khun Yai’s was the first maker on my map. I was surprised: I asked 3 different random people where to eat Khao Soi in Chiang Mai and did a simple Google...search on where to eat Khao Soi in Chiang Mai, all answers were Khao Soi by Khun Yai. This place totally lives up to the name and the hype!!!More

Right on the northern edge of the old city is this great little outdoor restaurant. Their entire menu consists of just 3 or 4 items so sit back and enjoy what some say is the best khao soi in town. And who am I to...argue? It's not like we surveyed every bowl in Chiang Mai, but this was definitely the tastiest and most authentic-seeming we ran across. And it's literally feet from Wat Khuan Khama, with its cool horse statues all over the place!More

Delicious meals, good tasting, cheap, quite spicy with pickle onions. I really love it and always to eat when going to travel to Thailand

We are Khao soi a few times around Chiang Mai during our visit, this was our favourite place. It was so delicious, and always busy which is good sign. Closed Sundays and mainly open for lunch

OMG delicious! This is, hands-down, the best Khao Soi in Chiang Mai! It is a bit of a strange location....in a parking lot but don't let that put you off! The Khao Soi here is incredible. The broth is rich, delicious and spicy! You get...a generous portion of noodles and chicken/beef/pork in the bowl. It gets very busy and sometimes they run out. I would suggest going at noon....any later and it seems to get a bit crazy! We loved it so much we went twice in two days and if we were in CM longer, we would have been back!More

Really great Khao Soi, would recommend for a great lunch! The pickled cabbage is a great addition. If you don’t like spicy, the noodle soup is also good.

This process is a bit of a mess. We order after about 5 minutes, waited 20 minutes for a table (others waited much longer) and then an additional 1+ hours for food. The Khao Soi was very good and the price was cheap, but the...wait was excessive. What was really bothersome was it didn't even seem like the staff was working very hard. In the 1.5 hours we waited, they served maybe 100 bowls of soup. We're generally very understanding of an understaffed restaurant running around and pumping out dishes, but for a staff of 5 people and a meal consisting of placing noodles in a bowl and pouring broth over top, they certainly seemed to be moving at a snail's pace.More

Place to go for Khao Soi! Two meals, two drinks, 110 baht... Super tasty! Would 100% recommend this place to anybody who wants to try Khao Soi.

We were eager to try Khao Soi when we arrived in Chiang Mai. The eatery has a very casual setting and a simple menu, but it is amazing!(these places often have the best food from my experiences). The price is absolutely cheap! A must when...in Chiang Mai!More

There are only meat options here, and the broth (curry sauce) would have been boiled meat juices in it as well, even if you ordered it Mang Saweerat (vegetarian). If you are looking for vegetarian Khao Soi, Aum Vegetarian... More
