Because it is. We've been here several nights in a row and whatever we get is fantastic. Spring rolls, spicy squid, everything.

Small restaurant, simple décor, small tables, still you must go there for the food and the way it is presented and the deserts are absolutely to die for. For Chiang Mai not the cheapest but for a dinning experience unforgettable. Peter Adams

This place serves excellent Thai and western food. Got a green curry chicken for $3.50 and a fillet mignonette for $5. Simple decor and restaurant. Don't go for the ambience go for the food.

We visited Spoon de Best several times last year and again this year and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff, good food and OK price. We will be back soon.

Decided to visit after seeing it highly rated on tripadvisor. Quite a small tidy place without being flash, but was 1 of the best places we visited in our 5 night stay in Chiang Mai. Was 33 degrees most days & we tended to walk...More

We found this place via the TripAdvisor listings and, to be honest, probably wouldn't have gone in without the recommendations. It's a simple, unassuming looking place similar to many of the places in the old town but had we not looked it up, we'd have...More
