We found this place on one of our pamphlets and as it claimed to be welcoming place/art gallery we thought we would give it a try. -My elder son went in and asked if we should take our shoes off BEFORE any of the rest of us had entered -My husband entered (shoes off) and asked if there were any... I found this place by accident thanks to an Art Map of Chiang Mai that I found at Mai iam. It is like being in an artist's house -- art everywhere, books everywhere, a big communal table to sit at and read, eat, relax. The owner, Joe, is a warm and welcoming guy and his presence makes the place even... More

A perfect place for a quiet dinner. The Meeting Room is far from ordinary. We sat at a big table, surrounded by paintings, sculptures, books and works of art. My friend and I were the only 2 eating there at the time. The food choices included panini and salads. The grilled veggie salad was lovely. While waiting, we enjoyed exploring... More

Came here after visiting a temple on a very hot day. What a pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed the space and exhibits and were made so welcome by our host. Prices were fantastic and the coffee well made. Would definitely come again and would recommend to others to pop in. The air conditioning is a welcome reprieve after the heat... More

Interesting place and concept here with half-library and arts and crafts with nice food and drink. Only draw-back is that it's facing a really busy road at night so I found it a bit polluted from the vehicles on the road -however, can sit inside as well and away from the road. For food try the Panini, followed by home... More

We went to this restaurant not far from the market and near the Ping river, and we were happy to have made this choice. This is a place that seems very familiar, both for the availability of staff and for freedom of moving. They give access to a free library and in fact while we waited for our lunch we... More

A very different place from the usual pubs, restaurants or coffee shops. Its simplicity it is quite attractive, and involving because there is a library for read books all for free. The owner is a very kind and helpfu manl, the food is in the fast food style, but very good and genuine. By my side, suggest you try

This is primarily an art gallery that also offers coffee, tea and sandwiches. We went to view the art and bought a local sculpture. Joe is quite pleasant and helpful, and makes a tasty panini.

Not far from the river, and when we walked back from the market we saw this place that caught our attention, as well we went in to eat a snack and rest a little. This is a truly original Cafe, with a library inside, where you can enjoy food and free of charge consult or read some books. Accessible prices,... More
