We came back to the Teahouse because we enjoyed lunch here when in Chiang Mai 12 months ago. It's still a wonderful place to eat. This time we ate Longan red curry and a green curry. My partner had a hurricane shake, I had iced Masala tea. The restaurant is in the back of the Teahouse near the gardens, with... More

A charming little garden restaurant in the middle of the hustle and bustle, The restaurant has a fairly good tea and coffee menu with lunch options. The food was tasty and the tea and coffee were excellent. I loved the mocha blondie. The pottery showroom had a good range of products with the prices the same as the factory outlet.... More

My husband and I happened upon this tea house by chance and had lunch. Lovely Thai food and the perfect lemon soda. We also bought some crockery at the shop, very reasonably priced. We went back twice and had mango smoothie to die for, and some decent cakes. The atmosphere in the place is lovely old colonial, the staff friendly,... More

Visited this beautiful 100-year-old colonial Lanna-style tea house in the Tha Pae road. Instead of sitting in the garden I sat on a swing seat in front of a cool fan while the charming staff served me delicious fresh salad. The property is owned by a tea-planter and I was able to buy some of his tea. Can't wait to... More

Came here for breakfast on my way to the airport and it's a cute little spot. I got the American breakfast which is your choice of egg (I got an omelet it was delicious) which comes with a side salad, toast and some meat (I tried all but didn't eat the full lot because I'm not a major fan of... These tea rooms are located in a very elegant 100 year old colonial style Lanna house with a beautiful garden. The place is nicely furnished, the counters look inviting, the china is classy, a bit of oldy worldy charm. We came for a light lunch, vegetarian spring rolls and chicken satay, both dishes were tasty and nicely presented. We drank... More

We went here to get some drinks and.. we weren't disappointed. Building is and looks old, but what I really like were the teas that you can buy here. I highly recommend local Chiang Mai tea. About the drinks - great was that they weren't so sweet like they make everywhere.

I have dined at this tea house many times over the years. I have decided to review it now as I think I can now be fair to this cafe using my present and past experiences to base my comments on. The reasons I like going here is because of the location, it's set back from the noise of the... More
