I ordered Cat House via delivery yesterday and what arrived was not only disappointing, but gross. I ordered an avocado panini and the avocado was rotten. It was covered with black spores and spots and you could SEE it had gone bad.
I, of course,...could not eat this 120Baht panini filled with ROTTEN produce. I sent photos along with a written message to their Facebook which were read 24 hours ago and I received nothing. No compensation, no apology, not even a message reaction.
Disgusting quality, disgusting service.More
Lovely place … Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, good food, very cold beer/Natural fruit drinks and unlimited free WiFi if you wish to just sit a while with a drink … Try the Burmese Black Tea Salad … amazing *****
Excellent food and coffee! I was so happy to find this cafe. The cafe name actually put me off so I didn’t go until the end of our stay in Chiang Mai. So glad we went! Coffee was wonderful (I’m a coffee connoisseur). The vegan...burrito was amazing and my husband loved the omelette. I kept eyeing off the brownies in the fridge cabinet but unfortunately restrained myself and kept thinking about them for days!More
Cat’s used to be a regular stop when we were in Chiang mai! 18 months later it’s still as good as it used to be! Excellent menu all cooked fresh, delicious food and friendly staff! Will be back again! Great for vegies and vegans too!
We enjoy a lovely dinner at cat house! The place is beautiful, staff are friendly and helpful, food is varied and delicious (big meals) with vegan and vegetarian options. The smoothies and homemade Kombucha were delicious. Thanks for such a good night :D
one of the best meals we’ve had in Chiang Mai (I have spent over a month here in the past couple of yrs and my husband has spent 4 months here - we’ve eaten at a LOT of restaurants).
Really not sure why the place...was nearly empty on the evening of 1 Jan... you’d think a place this good would be packed.
The menu emphasizes tasty, healthy food at very reasonable prices. Our bill came to 440 baht for 2 dinners and 2 cocktails. We shared the burrito and the Burmese salad. Both were incredibly tasty and portions were just right.
Staff (all Burmese) are so friendly and competent. Ambiance is nice too. We felt like we’d found a real gem. And so well located.

Open walled restaurant beneath Cat House accommodation, the menu offers food from all over South East Asia as well as Thailand. Our party of 10 had not booked, but we were seated quickly, and drinks and starters brought as main courses were decided. There were...choices for the meat eaters and vegetarians amongst us, and those who wanted spicy or not so spicy food, all of which were enjoyed. Desserts were visible to choose in the fridge.
Despite being within the city ring-moat, near to the busy roads, there were few cars or bikes passing by, making the whole evening very quiet. We managed to order in English with 100% success. The service was warm and helpful.More
Had the muesli and fruit with milk and it was really tasty, the place is really nice and the staff are friendly, could easily have sat here to chill for a while, if i was in chiang mai longer id eat here again
