This seems like a traditional old Thai restaurant. It is very nicely done - with lot of precious works of art or interest on display all over!!! Especially clocks! Food is good, we ate here few times and Thai food dishes are very well explained on menu - very interesting and useful menu though a bit showing some age. Food... More

One of my favourite meals in Chiang Mai. Great Khao Soi, friendly service and traditional atmosphere. Some may say it's a little dated but it really maintains the character of past years. Highly recommended.

You can find some rare and difficultly made dishes of Thai food here with Central style (not Northern style) so that sweet and spicy is dominant. However, every dishes were made by selective material and seasoning resulting to a plenty of deliciousness. Foods were served in small portion size (relatively expensive) but valuable.

This is a very well known restaurant that has been around for a long time. Although the place looks small from the outside, the inside is quite large. It is not a trendy place, the inside being a bit dark and furnishings are old. However, the menu is extensive and the food is excellent. We ordered prawn fried rice and... More

We've ordered Pad Thai and khao soi . Wonderful and authentic Thai food. Would be nice to visit when you're in this neighbor hood.

This was our last day but one in Thailand when we had already tried a lot of Thai food. Compared with other restaurants we visited, the food here was not very special. We ordered a coconut soup, a red curry, a stir-fried spinach and a stir-fried chicken with glass noodle. The amount was quite small. Even though the price was... More

Great food. Authentic Thai cuisine, traditional ambience with dirt cheap prices. Highly recommend. We ordered deep-fried soft crab and rice-noodle with coconut milk and shrimps, both amazing. We also ordered grilled pork for 100b, which is not on the menu. Fresh coconut only cost 50b each.

Great Thai food at reasonable price ( less than $40 US) including 4 large beers)in older hotel on a busy street. Air conditioned. The spicy cashew chicken dish was perfect.

Fresh vegies , fresh simple local dishes. No internet. Clean toilets. A bit of a slack service and not much English but the food was definitely good.

This is the only restaurant in Chiang Mai we went to multiple times, in part because it was very close to our apartment, but mostly because it was just so good! Truly delicious original and very affordable Thai food, cooked and spiced to perfection, with great smoothies to boot. All dishes were available in a vegetarian version when we asked... More
