Nice breakfast

Peppermint is a small restaurant located in the same soi where is the guest house I stayed until a few days ago. I returned to Chiang Mai after an absence of a few months and decided to have breakfast at the Peppermint Coffee House only to discover it was under new ownership. I had my usual vegetarian breakfast and found not only a large increase in price but a reduction in portion size. It seems the focus is no longer on providing... More

Having walked by this nice looking place, which gets quite busy, I decided to have lunch there last week. The waiter's English was quite limited, and they sent somebody from upstairs to answer my questions about their specialty like lamb. It turns out they keep it frozen, so I decided to for a chicken breast with mushroom sauce, which comes... More

I'd walk led past this place a few times around lunchtime & noticed how popular it is. It's on one of the wee 'soi' roads, just wide enough for a car, but only just off one of the main streets in the old city, so ideal location. So we stopped here for lunch & it was fine - tasty salmon... More

This nice little cafe is the bomb: fast internet, insanely good New York pizzas, and a stacked Thai menu. The owner and his staff are generous and hilarious. You gotta love that out of the way gem cafe.

We came for dinner twice in the week we visited Chaing Mai. Both times the food was excellent and the service good. The atmosphere is great too. Would highly recommend.

Backing packing through Thailand and my experience here was the worst. All reviews here say good things from years ago but surely this is one of those things where the place didn't maintain its luster. The staff was very rude and insisted on having one of our friends sit in a different table because they don't want to move a... More

We miss this place a lot. 2 years ago we had 1 month holiday in Chiang Mai. Every morning we have excellent breakfast, made by good and friendly staff. The day we come back to Chiang Mai the first thing we did was go to visit our friend in Peppermint Coffee House, and we had for lunch a very great... More

A few years ago in this small restaurant people could eat well, and it was good place, then has lost his style, and I no longer went. I returned a few days ago, because I knew that the management changed. Now back a nice atmosphere, and the food is good, they still use the old menu, but the quality food... More

I have been many times in this place, since when there was the real owner Roby (a fantastic man) We often went for breakfast, and it was outstanding. A week ago' has changed management, and is back to normal, good thai food, good pizza, and excellent English style breakfast, and more as well. The owner is a very nice lady,... More
