I live in this neighborhood around asok intersection on sukhumvit road, very tranquil setting in the heart of the city. I suggest making a booking and ask for a table overlooking the zen garden, very private tables and excellent service from kimono clad waitresses. The omokase sushi from the chef is excellent, and normally (even on a Wednesday or Thursday)... More

The sushi is only average. The price is high for the food quality. Also be very careful to check the bill. I order a bottle of white wine and they charge double the menu price.

One of the best Japanese restaurants that I have been to in Bangkok. More important, the staff is extremely polite. Hope to be back more often.

I have been to Ten Sui 5 or 6 times over the past 5 years and noticed on my previous visit that didnt seem to be all that great. On my latest visit mid february it was simply bad. I was with 3 other Japanese from Tokyo who were too polite to say a thing but having spent significant time... More

This has to be among the top ten Japanese restaurants outside of Japan! Excellent choices, fresh and attractively presented food, sensational tastes, first class service. Have been to this restaurant several times now - never disappointed.

The restaurant has a nice setting and lovely interior. The food was nice (not spectacular). What makes the restaurant is the staff. They are very pleasant indeed. The dishes were a little bland. And the bill slightly elevated but, it is certainly worth a visit.

My friend who has lived in Japan recommend me that this is one of the best sushi restaurants in Bangkok. At first, I don't believe him because I never heard of this place in a media before. After the first visit, Ten Sui became one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. I had 10 course omakase. The fish are super fresh... More

Ten Sui used to be one of my Japanese restaurant in Bangkok. It was so classy, very good food but my experience from visiting last week, everything has changed except for the price. Food was just average, the place looks very dark and there were not enough waitresses caring for our table even though there were just 2 tables. It... More

Mixed review . On the positive, the food was generally good though there were some misses (overdone fish), set lunches are good value; food presentation lovely. On the other hand, the place looks tired, worn, old, dark, and the service is spotty at best. I imagine at some point in the past this restaurant must have been a beautiful, classic... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
