Great night thanks to Khun Jee and his team

Went there for our friends last night in Bangkok and a belated bday dinner. Made the reservation online on the Cielo homepage. When we arrived the hostage ladies were kind of puzzled with our reservation confirmation and gave us table on the backside. Attitude was rather rude and unfriendly. After talking to Khun Jee the service was magnificent and we got a nice table to celebrate our friends bday and farewell evening. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Thanks to him we stayed beyond some drinks and indulged in a variety of delicious dishes across the menu selection. Big compliments to him and both servers who looked after us all night. My friends, my wife and myself were very happy and appreciated their last night and last impression of a great vacation. Thank you!

Lovely view in PhraKhanong

I have a couple visiting me from the US and I brought them here because it is close to home. The view was amazing, the drinks were delicious, and the food was wonderful. As a local I found the food a bit on the pricey side but my friends were super happy with the value. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating and the service was well-timed. I will definitely come back with visitors for a lovely sunset over the Bangkok skyline.

New Year at Cielo

Cielo Sky Bar and Restaurant’s New Year buffet was, regrettably, a mixed experience. The food selection, which included a variety of meats, fish, and Thai dishes, was decidedly average. The oyster station and cheese pasta station did stand out as decent, but they were not enough to elevate the overall dining experience. A significant disappointment was the quality of the welcoming drinks, which were terrible. Moreover, the ambiance was marred by people smoking tobacco and weed close to the dining tables, blatantly ignoring the prohibition signs. This detracted from the dining experience and seemed to be poorly managed by the staff. Speaking of the service, it was underwhelming and did not meet the expectations one would have for such an establishment, especially during a festive occasion like New Year’s. The one redeeming feature of the evening was the excellent view offered by the venue. However, this alone was not enough to justify the cost of the buffet. Overall, the experience at Cielo Sky Bar and Restaurant’s New Year buffet was not worth the money spent.

Perfect for a private party

I recently hosted a private party for a group of 30 friends, and was looking for a venue that had great views, but also a good indoor space, as it was during the rainy season and chances are it would rain. We were lucky that it didn't, and proceeded to have a very enjoyable evening at Cielo. The manager, Thomas, was very helpful in giving me ideas and suggestions, and was very accommodating to my needs. The buffet was set up very nicely, and the food was excellent. I had also asked for vegetarian options, as some of my friends were vegetarian, and all the selections were delicious. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I will definitely be returning!

Great cocktails, overpriced food

We had starter ceviche and Tom yum ravioli. Ceviche was chewy and ravioli was overcooked, separated from the prawn filling. Mains were spaghetti aglio e olio and spaghetti with squid ink. Both nice. Desserts were gateau au chocolate and tiramisu. Average. I would come back here for the cocktails and the view but not for the food. Considering we paid £90+ for the meal, it was more expensive than we would've expected for the quality. Staff was attentive and kind!

What a great place to celebrate New Years...food was buffet style, not over the top. We also had dinner there a couple of other nights in late December where we ordered off the menu. Preferred ordering from the menu. Cocktails were will made. Cocktails may be a bit pricey(Western Prices) but they were worth it. Rooftop views stunning and the fireworks display will be worth coming back for. Overall excellent

Beautiful view with a great ambiance

The Cielo Sky bar was the perfect place for my friends and I to celebrate our first night in Bangkok. The view was AMAZING and they easily were able to accommodate us a seat for sunset viewing. The atmosphere is relaxed with pretty lights and soft music. There was a singer and guitar player performing, who were fabulous. The drinks were delicious and food as well. It was more affordable than some of the other restaurants we had been to. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Ruined a 21st Birthday meal.

Completely let down by this bar/restuarant. Made a reservation on the 7th December for my 21st Birthday on the 24th December. However, with LESS than 24 hours before booking they informed me of that the 'set festive menu' is the only food being sold. Ruined what should have been a special occasion at the last moment, especially when you consider most other places by which point are fully booked. Would not recommend if they have the same disregard for your special occasion as they did for me.

Birthday celebration

We had a lovely table for the 10 of us. The view was fantastic and everyone spent quite a bit of time taking photos. Thank you K.Kaen for looking after us. We loved all the delicious food and really appreciated the complimentary drinks and cakes for the birthday boys!

Beautiful view but terrace without charm. The server does not know the card. Forced to bring him every dish and every drink. Nice orchestra but much too loud. Impossible to talk to each other. Quite expensive dishes because there was no accompaniment with the dishes, we asked for at least a little rice (and well charged!) the aperitifs were brought at the same time as the wine and we did not have our dishes at the same time. There are other much better roof top restaurants in Bangkok.

Sky Dining at Cielo

Atmosphere and view was good. There was a live singing by a duo band, vocals mainly by a lady and guitar by a gentleman. Service was wonderful. Drinks were great especially the Cielo Signature cocktail. Mains (pork ribs, sea bass, aglio olio) were average but the squid ink shaghetti was unexpectedly delicious (fusion of local thai spices with western squid ink). Desserts were lovely as well!

The view was spectacular and it would be better to go in winter. The food quality was good compared to the prices and cocktails were great however, the heat there could be improved by providing customers with fans and not leave an AC dining room with no AC. The service was fine.

A fantastic experience. Helpful and very kind staff, great cocktails and beer. And a stunning view and High class live Music also. Only minus was the foot, the main dish, absolut tasty and Nice But simply far too little. The salmon Nice, But the potatoes Alonso with it was 4 thin thin slices and the vegetables pour. Could have been better at the cost of 560 thb. But we Will absolutely come back, just not for dining.

Let's get the obvious out of the way. Great views, great selection of drinks. Food had good flavours, was well plated and had decent portions. Service is always makes a place stands out - staff here were professional, polite and efficient. The GM also came by and chatted with us. Lovely bloke. The negatives - place looks tired and in desperate need for a refresh. The GM shared with us some of their upcoming plans for the place and it sounds quite exciting. Looking forward to repeat visits in future, to see how these plans are implemented in future.

It is perfect place to see the city. We had a dinner. It was good, especially oysters were delicious. Lot of people in service and we didnt like that someone stood beside the table all the time. However for the high price we expected more.
