The food quality is always at the standard. Even if we chose the second-tier course this time, we also received the best.

Top flight omakase for 2 pax plus sake costs ~THB10k but what an enjoyable and transformative experience. The progression and cadence was pure theatre. From one peak experience to another with aji, fresh mackerel, then uni etc. The quality, seasoning, delicate balance of vinegar of...the sushi rice really stood out for it's taste and texture. One of the best sushi rice I recall and of course the fish topping was great too but the rice stood out for me. Would be honored to return.More

Omakase course at Mizu is valuable compared to most high-price omakase restaurants in Bangkok. For a 5,500 THB dinner course, the dishes and ingredients are over our expectation.

Recommended by my local friend... Definitely one of the best and top quality restaurants I have ever been to. The quality and taste of the food was phenomenal! The staff and the chefs were very friendly. Good story telling by the chef. The price was...reasonable. Overall, will definitely visit again and again at any opportunity I get. Great job!!!More

Overall is great, except the booking process.I've made the booking for omakaze course at noon (12:00) via the restaurant website. We arrived at the restaurant at 11:45 and told them about our booking information. The 1st staff came to greet and requested us to wait...for meal preparation at the table, also brought some snacks for us. And we have been wait until 12:20 when another group came and been brought to the counter bar, we just realize something might be wrong. Then I walked to the reception desk and asked the staff to check. However the staff at the reservation room didn't help to check my request nor even apologize. She turned to the 3rd staff and let that staff came to talk to me.After conversation, we found that staff didn't check our online reservation and misunderstood that our booking is at 12:30, althought we have mentioned our booking time on our arrival again. Because on the day i've done the booking, I also message (@line) to the restaurant and ask them to check available time that i can make the booking. And on that day staff replied with the time 12:30, and they did reply after I have done the booking online via their website at 12:00 already.Except the booking, everything is great. The restaurant is clean and private. Our chef is nice and professional. Food is impressive.More

Considering the prices the restaurant charges, the ambience is average. Omakase course here is not the most competitive in pricing and selection as compared to one of my favourite japanese restaurant Umi at Thonglor.I am not vowed as there are more misses than hits. The...best nigiri sushi was the Sanma, the rest is just average at best. We ordered two additional pieces of Otoro and were charged ridiculous prices. After spending around $300 sans alcohol, I was not even awarded any Chope dollars.More

I had dinner omakase course here with my friends several days ago. I came with only little expectation as the price is not high comparing to other high-end omakase restaurant in Bangkok and also the chef is not Japanese. Turned out the course was spectacular....I chose Kisetsu omakase (the middle-price one) as it seems to be the standard one. The course has 16 dishes (2 appetizers, 2 sashimi, 10 sushis, 1 soup and 1 desserts). The chef, though is not Japanese, knows very well what he was doing. He explained what each dish was also how and why he applied season and technique in each one. It was good experience listening and seeing him at work. I heard that the lunch omakase here is even cheaper. Will surely come try it again soon.More

I went to have lunch at Mizu, it is located in Charn issara tower near silom road. I ordered salad and shasimi as I came alone. I found that the price is quite higher than other Japanese restaurant in Bangkok. However, once you try Mizu's...dishes you will taste the fresh of the food material and how well the chefs prepare those dishes for you. So this restaurant has reasonable price compared with freshness in raw fish in salad and shasimi. Also, Mizu has the traditional Japanese omakase to serve. I want to try and write the review for the course soon.More

I ordered 3 dishes 1.Ell with rice (so so) 2.Shirachi (not impress) - rice is not good - the rest is ... So so 3.Tempura - powder too strong (not sure it is about the powder itself or the way they do it) - i...can smell and feel the sticky oil on tempura which is not quite present. I feel this shop is not bad because of the raw material is quate ok. But it just not outstanding. When i come to price, i give you 3 star for demand for improve. *The restaurant is small, you covered it with nice decoration and music. 2 chef keep talking to each other in their language and distract my peaceful dinner in a nice restaurant. Waitress is nice and she has a good service.More
