I was a big fan and regular customer at Nefertititi when I lived in Bangkok and I stopped by for old time's sake - and am very happy that I did. The food is as good as ever and unlike so many eateries in Bangkok,...the prices have not shot up. The menu seemed to be the very same as it was several years ago and few items have increased in price. We ordered bbq boneless chicken, bbq minced lamb, feta cheese salad, hummus and a couple of breads. With water and the free appetisers it all came to a very reasonable 720 baht. I've tried a lot of restaurants in the Arab quarter but I keep coming back to Nefertiti. After all these years the food is still consistently very good.More

I enjoyed my simple evening meal at Nefertiti. A small plate of pickled vegetables had more variety (5) than others provide but personally, I would like olives added in lieu of one of the items. The daal soup was very good and had more texture...than most I’ve experienced given that the lentils were not pureed. I added a small amount of the hot sauce routinely provided to complement the flavor to my tastes. The hummus was good but served in a smaller than usual portion. The naan bread was superb. Upon arrival, a bottle of water is delivered to the table. The total cost was 270 baht (approx. USD$8.50) Nefertiti has indoor and outdoor seating. I sat indoors and was very comfortable. The decor was appealing to me, inclusive of the table settings. Instead of tissues, real napkins printed with the Nefertiti logo are at each table. I prefer these thicker napkins. The plates and saucers are very colorful and also have the distinctive logo. The staff was great — friendliness coupled with prompt attention. At 9:00pm, the restaurant remained fairly busy. I would not hesitate to return nor to recommend Nefertiti to others.More

I have been here many times. It's a good change from Thai food. I enjoy the feta dip and hommus with lamb. Shawarma is also good. I have seen a lot of other dishes but not tried them yet. Service is always fast and friendly...enough.More

Finding Halal food is a little problematic in Bangkok. Being a fan of Arabic food, my husband and I found this place. It has great food and very quick service but the restaurant seems ancient. I mean the culinary and the walls require changes. We...had rice, lamb and chicken. I don’t know why but chicken in Bangkok tastes a little odd. Lamb was good on the other hand. I’ve tried Arabic food in Malaysia too and I’m a huge fan but this was not that much tasty.More

I'm not an expert on Egyptian food, but this place was great! Busy even at 11pm. I had the lamb and zucchini claypot topped by a mountain of cheese, plus some naan, both great, sadly it was too much for me to finish all. Gf...had a lamb bone tom yum type soup, also nice.More

After plenty of nights eating everything from Thai food to Italian and French, me and my friends had the wish to try something different, so we went to restaurant Nefertiti located in the Nana area in Bangkok. Like most Lebanese restaurants, the decor is a...mixture of different colors, shiny stones, flowers made of plastic or fabric, mirrors and..and...it's not a sophisticated decor, but exactly what the Arabs like. We were longing for Hummus and minced lamb, Aubergine mousse and our vegetarian friend had an Aubergine curry. Instead of rice, we ordered the delicious Nam bread (like the Indian bread). Service was not the best we have experienced, but food came fast. Cutlery? Well, they were not to generous with cutlery, maybe they think all guests want to eat with their hands?? Don't expect a glass of good wine or a cold beer, this place serves no alcohol. Choose between Soda water, plain water or other soft drinks. We enjoyed our dishes and will probably go back again.More

For tourists looking for halal food this one is really good. This restaurant neither offers alcohol nor let's anyone bring their own booze. We had Laban, which is a savory yogurt drink that goes great with lamb or beef. The dips and sauces were amazing....Very economical on the pocket, in around 800baht 2 people can easily have their tummy filled.More

The food over here was delicious. The service was amazing. We only had to wait a few minutes for our food and it was worth it. Do try the tea here, it is wonderful.

This is an Egyptian restaurant. They serve many common arab restaurant plates but their Shawarma is really superior. You have to try it. I like their sitting area as well.

Located close to Soi4, in the arabian quarter, this is a very, very good halal egyptian restaurant, full of people and with a decent service. I tasted a good feta cheese and a mutton kebab. Recommended.
