Gracious movement of all dancers, a great a la carte menu in case anyone finds the set a bit usual. quite a romantic setting by the chao phraya river, however, its service level was rather passive though pleasant enough. In contrast to the noisy disco cruises we noted from time to time, we loved this dining venue.

This is a special dining experience . . . put it high on your restaurant bucket list in the entire world! The food is outstanding Thai perfection; the service cannot be topped anywhere; and of course their is extraordinary beautiful Thai entertainment that is presented with passion and care and not cheap and commercial at all. The grounds are beautiful... More

The food was perfectly ok. But in Bangkok, when you spend 3000 baht (100 USD) for a meal for two, ok is not good enough. The food was ridiculously underspiced. I realize they need to cater to their patrons' palates, but most Thai food should have some level of heat. On a scale of 1-10, our entrees were 0 spicewise.... More

Excellent atmosphere, and some of the best Thai dishes I have had in a while. I highly recommend the Spicy Beef Salad. Excellent staff, and the boat to the restaurant is highly creative.

We had dinner at the Sala Rim Naam to celebrate a special occasion and enjoyed it very much. The service was excellent. The food was very good and the dinner show was lovely. We also enjoyed eating right on the river, but it was uncomfortably warm to eat outdoors. They should turn up the fans or offer a space with... More

was invited to dinner at Sala Rim Naam at the last night of our conference. Set dinners were served to attendees, and every single dish is thoughfully prepared. Ingridents are fresh and prepared just right... letting the true essence of Thai cruisine shine. Thai traditional performance during dinner was excellent as well.

Had dinner here the other evening and had a delicious dinner. Not earth shattering but delicious with a gorgeous view and the visiting tourists were pleased. Sit outside as one doesn't really need to see a dancing show…much better outside on the terrace overlooking the very nice river.

Just one of the best meals I have ever had! We dined here as part of our visit to Bangkok for our Honeymoon, and it is definitely one of our highlights. The service is second to none. Couldn't have asked for better. We took the boat across from the main hotel, and were greeted by an extremely friendly attendant who... More

The whole experience is a little bit like from a fairytale. You will get to start The Sala Rim Naam experience by taking a boat to get there. Once you reach the bank of the rivier you will be greated by a super friendly staff, looking and behaving wonderful fro A to Z. The dinner accompanied by the traditional music... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
