We had booked Sala Rim Naan for my wife's 50th birthday for 40 people attending from all over Asia. We had chosen the Mandarin Oriental for the venue because from past experience, the food, service and attention to detail are always excellent. Because of the...More

Had dinner here with friends. We found the food good but were underwhelmed by the experience. Sadly we had high expectations so it wasn't quite fair. The feeling was sadly very touristic and didn't feel very exclusive. We were seated at one of the tables...More

Yes it was exceptional. We got picked up by their boat in the Shangri-La. Of course the atmosphere in the dark on the river and warm weather is simply a dream. The reception is excellent and gives you the felling that you are somebody. Wether...More

The experience to take the wooden boat across the river from the Mandarin Oriental to the dining place is unique. There, the location is great (inside), the food delicious and diverse (I tried the set menu) and the service impeccable. The traditional dance show was...More

Terrace Rim Naam lies across the river from the Mandarin Oriental but of course is very much a part of the hotel. Hotel boats ferry across every few minutes. The outdoor setting is delightful for dinner, on the river, with wonderful views across to the...More

It was an experience cruising in the river, and eating all the Thai food you can eat. The restaurant is in the other side of the river and there is a boat cruise from main hotel to the restaurant. The food is excellent and this...More

Yes, there are two - fixed and a la carte. We went with the fixed and were quite disappointed. It was pricey by Thai standards. The show was fabulous, the food - not so much.

Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok's signature Thai restaurant has been transformed into a miniature palace serving fine Thai cuisine. A lavish Thai buffet lunch is served daily and guests can also enjoy a gourmet set dinner menu accompanied by the region's most spectacular cultural performance and dance show nightly.
