Wanted authentic Thai food in simple surroundings and this looked the place. A few fans to keep cool, no frills tables and lots of flies. Had a seafood noodles, which though plentiful, was very average compared to the price, which was higher than average, at Baht 180. Overall a bit disappointing.

I went to this place quite a few times with my friends. Normally,my friends love their fried hokkien mee which I found it quite insipid as same as other dishes i.e. crispy pork , red pork or char chew duck. Only visite this place with my friend's requested.

Unfortunately the food was not good. I had roasted duck and my girlfriend beef with oyter sauce. At the end they tried to trick with the bill 2 times. Never again.

This seems to be a famous place for duck, so I had duck. Was good, but nothing exceptional. Restaurant is literaly on the street, messy, service is not organized. It remains good for a quick meal. Payed THB 440 for 2 dishes with rice and 2 water.

Tourist area so one can be expected to get ripped off some times but it's the only restaurant in the area that charges twice the price if you are non Thai. Shame cos it's ok even if the specialty duck is always served below luke warm temperature...

Family run business, cozy, good location. Plate full of duck plus a bottle of Sprite = 200 baht. Good variety menu. Open lunch and dinner. Not a good place if you are a duck.

I am a 16 year BKK resident and used to eat at Yong Lee quite a bit. Stopped after a bad meal about 10 years ago. Yesterday went for lunch. Aside from the sticker shock (almost all dishes were 180 Baht for small and 350 for large) the food was far less than satisfactory. We ordered the small roast duck... More

We ate at this restaurant a few times and enjoyed the experience! This family run business it is no frills & the sum of the staff don't speak much English! The price is very reasonable!

Not fancy but this place would have to have some of the best Thai food I have ever had. We went to this small family restaurant twice and wish we had found it earlier. Roast duck is amazing as well as chicken and cashews and papaya salad. Service is good. The matriarch running the place looked a little scary which... More

Very Authentic food but no customer service at all. There is no way either if you can amend a recipe. Like if you want a fried rice with no egg, there is no way they can do it. They will simply not take order.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
