After 2 years away from Thailand, I was looking forward to go back to Chesa for a good evening dinner with my family. Both Food and Service, taste and presentation, cleanliness and the ambiance, friendliness and time of patron Rene spent with us, was warm and inviting as it always was. A niche place to bring business partners, family and... More

The ambiance in this cozy place immediately places you at ease. You feel that you've been transported back to modern Geneva. The menu choices are varied and the presentation is excellent. The chef does the best he can with the ingredients available and while the resulting meal is hardly a trip to Europe, it is perhaps all that can really... More

Chesa was a great discovery and especially as a Swiss national, this restaurant was a haven for authentic and very tasty Swiss cuisine. The prices are fair, the food and beverage on offer good value for money and the location very convenient. The much anticipated Swiss Sausage Salad was tasty but anything but a traditional Sausage Salad. There were more... More

After a long time, I had again an excellent tasty dinner. One reason I miss my home is sure the wonderful food. And for this, Chesa is a must go.

It rarely lets you down and like a good Swiss watch time marches on...This Swiss restaurant, popular with denizens in the know, is hidden away down a side-soi off Sukhumvit's Soi 20. It's a comfortable, homely eatery rather than chichi, perfect for a quiet lunch or dinner where the Swiss owners are hands on and the kitchen turns out high... More

Had some great steak at an affordable rate. I'd suggest sitting in the back where it is a bit more relaxing and not as loud. Food was nice - service was adequate. Will certainly return.

We recently celebrated a family occasion in this unique Swiss restaurant n Bangkok.the atmosphere is comfortable and the staff attentive. We had cheese fondue and it was very tasty! Our dessert of chocolate fondue was a big hit with all of us. The restaurant was pricey but it's the only Swiss place in Bangkok.

I have been visiting Chesa since about 15 years and in all this time I never even once had a bad meal. That's what I call consistency, which is not easy to find these days. You can tell that the owners who also operate this wonderful place are dedicated and passionate and most of all they know how to cook.... More

Sometimes it's good to spoil yourself. The Sunday brunch at this Swiss institution costs 2,350 baht plus VAT and service charge, so nearly 2,800 baht, if you include the option of free-flowing beer, Bloody Mary, Prosecco, white wine and red wine. With wine being so expensive in Thailand, you could spend that amount on a decent bottle, so the brunch... More

Friends took us to this very unique restaurant. The food is amazing, traditional Swiss dishes for all different tastes. Great ingredients well prepared. The service is very attentive and friendly. One of the owners was there and supported his team and helped us with the selection from the very extensive menu.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
