I was referred to this hotel by a friend but was a little hesitant due to the fact it isn't an International brand. The hotel has everything you need and in my opinion a hidden gem in Bangkok. I stayed for 2 nights on a quick business trip. The rooms are very spacious with all the modern amenities you may... More

Breakfast is good. My only complaint is that the staff shout across the restaurant and speak very loudly which really destroys the ambience of the hotel.

We stayed three days at the Stable Lodge, quiet and cozy place, good food and breakfast, very nice and helpful staff, swimmingpool, bar, 5 min walk to BTS Nana Station. Just one of the best places in Sukhumvit aera.

Have lived at the hotel more than 25 times and like most people, I came for the food. From end of April, the hotel has been sold and things have changed to the worse. I could no longer pay with Credit card, only cash. No Internet available in the hotel at all and in the reception they really didn't care.... More

Great food, a must try, Scandinavian food is what I love! Meatballs with mashed potatoes taste like straight from Sweden!

We are originally from Denmark - now living in Spain - and we do NOT normally go to Danish restaurants when in Asia. BUT we decided to make an exemption And a god one that was. It is like beeing on a traditional danish restaurant 25 years ago. But it is located in a beautiful garden on Sukhumvit Soi 8,... More

Nice little place, with some good food. It is down Soi 8 a little way on an older building with a nice court yard that is connected to a old hotel. The place has a lot of character and they do some very good food (try the schnitzel). The staff is pretty good and the prices are decent.

Ate here 3 times while in Bangkok. Loved the food and found eating in the garden very restful. Make a reservation and get into the garden.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
