One of the better Japanese restaurant I have tried in Bangkok. As always , other than Thai food, I was on lookout for good Japanese food and always dependent on the Japanese staff who works in the hotel I usually stay in. This time round , I asked a Dutch staff who works in the hotel and he recommend this... More

We visit Aoi often and I'm writing this review from the restaurant. The food is always excellent, service is punctual and polite and it's one of the real good Japanese restaurants in Bangkok. Highly recommended is the snow fish, salmon, advocado salad and sashimi.

I like this place for bento set especially lunch. You can enjoy many kinds of dishes in one time or maybe various material over 40 or 50 kinds of vegetables or fish. Meat!

Very good quality food. Service is ok, not matching with the food quality, and it was slow to get the lunch served.

This is the original restaurant, and there are now two more branches, one in the Emporium and one in Paragon. Our family has been going here for over ten years and we have never had a bad meal. Large menu with lots of variety, my wife loves the bento boxes and the kids love the hire katsu.

This place will burn your wallet, but you won't get value like Tenyu Grand or Seiryu. Best to skip this place (which is actually a chain).

Good meal at AOI which is a nice and quiet restaurant separate from the food court and very close to the Kempinski Hotel. Good quality of fish and technique - I watched carefully at the sushi bar. I was surprised at the bill at the end which came to around $60 USD for a mix plate of sushi which was... More

Aoi is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Bangkok. There are inside of Emporium Building. Not everyone knows because is not on the direct route to be seen. The traditional Japanese style from decoration , serving and all the food. Their food is superb delicious and fresh. The price are a bit high but worth for the money. They... More

I am accustomed to very good inexpensive food in Bangkok. This simple, highly rated Japanese restaurant serves good food at ridiculously overinflated prices. For three people we paid 3,755 Baht. This is about three times what it should have cost. Most of the food was good but one of the dishes, the Hokkai Kamemeshi, (salmon hot pot) was overcooked and... More
