Tasty food. Crab curry was really nice. And we also had the steamed grouper with lime and chilli - big, fresh and not over cooked.

Just returned from a very disappointing meal. Only one other table occupied. We had the recommended Crab Yellow Curry (only served with noodles, no option to change to rice; just order extra rice!) Nice flavour but a little watery. The pork belly was so fatty...that more than half was not edible. The other half was fatty but tasty. The third dish only appeared after we had finished the rest of the meal. A steamed crab and seafood affair in a banana leaf. I think it was meant to turn out like a moose but it was a just watery lump in a leaf. Half way through the meal the staff turned off and removed the fan next to us. No explanation but it was obvious they were wanting to go home. After paying we were followed out and doors locked behind us. It was 9.30pm on a Friday night. We came for a late lunch on a Saturday, so the restaurant wasn’t crowded. We wanted only a light lunch. Of course we ordered their signature crab curry, which is served with glass noodles. We also a serving of fried fish fillet served with a...spicy dark red curry on the side. Both dishes were fabulous! Crab curry is by no means an uncommon dish in Thailand, and having tried it in so many establishments, we feel this is without question the best! They are very generous with the chunks of crab meat, and the gravy is rich and smooth. The glass noodles, however, are a tad firm - we prefer the softer, smoother noodles that some other restaurants use.More

I have been coming back to this restaurant every time I visit Bangkok. Food is excellent. Service very prompt and friendly. The crab curry is a must try. I enjoy the omelette with crispy pork. I went many many to Prai Raya. Their speciality is Thai food from the south of Thailand (Phucket). Their clientele is many Thai people. You may noticed that they have a few bad reviews - all of them written by non-Thai customer. Of course everybody...is entitle me to their opinion but it is authentic Thai food from the South. Came here for dinner invited by our lovely friend and it’s not disappointing!! The best pork belly that we have ever taste, their fish ball is super yummy and the dipping sauce goes well with it and the curry is to die for

Every kind of food is spicy but for Thailand not really tasty. The service could be better. food comes before drinks. They have a wine menu but from all the bottles they only have one red wine555. i don’t recommend this restaurant for western people

I had a quick dinner in this restaurant. It is somewhat hidden in a quiet soi, but only 5-10 minutes walk from the main Sukhumvit road. The restaurant really looks nice, not high class, but a clean good mid range restaurant. The food however was...really good. I had a dish with crab meat, and I really enjoyed it. As with most Thai restaurants, food is served quickly, so do not expect a long dinner.More
