Great view from both the roof top bar and the roof top restaurant. Lovely meals and a good selection drinks. Considering uniqueness of the place, prices are relevant. A great place for special evenings.

This place, besides the breathtaking view was at the time of my visit (12/9/20) a total disappointment. With both venues (Vertigo Grill and Moon Bar) at my request to enjoy dinner at the bar lots of resistance was made, I guess to protect the “rules...of the house” and its etiquette of which some excerpts are in the enclosed image. Well, after explaining to the staff that - by being by myself - I would have more appreciated to enjoy my dinner at the bar rather than at the Vertigo Grill (the two venues are separated by a connecting terrace) an exception was made and I have shown my appreciation. Upon landing on the Moon Bar terrace I saw that other fellow guests had some bites along with their drinks...and they were not alone. I have ordered some sushi, edamame and a gin an tonic asking specifically the edamame to be delivered before the sushi: it did not happened. With regards to the sushi besides being greasy, upon requiring some chopsticks, the staff told me that only fork and knife were available...whaaaat?!??? My gin and tonic was flat - being the tonic with no bubbles at all. Nobody asked me how my food was during my stay and besides the payment moment no interaction with the staff took place. Last but not least a note with regards to the “etiquette” (see the enclose images). The venue precisely requires a specific attire. What a shame to see people in flip flop shorts and sandals (documented!!!) hanging around the terrace. In a nutshell for a pricey 1,246 THB this is definitely not the place I will again hop around. I hope all the above happened because of a pandemic related laxity of the staff. Again such a disappointment!More

Came here to celebrate my birthday. I was first amazed my the incredible views... then it started. I was sat and no one came to have me check out the menu (it’s mobile now), offered me water, paid me any attention for the first 15...min of me sitting there. Finally someone came, I ordered and waited almost 2 hours for my soup. I had plans already so I asked them to hurry it up as I still needed my main course and dessert. Now the food... bland and dry. The soup has no flavor. The sea bass has no flavor and was incredibly dry. Overall it was such bleh food and terrible service for the amount I was paying??? Unacceptable. I will never be going here again nor will I recommend to anyone. Stay far away!More

when its sunset time, its packed but hard to get a drink, luckily I was on vacation and not feeling the need to be pushy. There were plenty of people taking care of that. The views were extraordinary. Especially since I knew I had three...teenagers in the room waiting for their next meal.More

This is an excellent venue! Both the food (I would highly recommend the lamb!) and the cocktails are great! The design of it and the sight are great, too. The only downside: as Banyan Tree is a 5* hotel, please don't expect your visit there...to be cheap. It is NOT!!!More

This very special venue reminds me of the Los Angeles Music Centre’s Lord Andrew Webber and Tim Rice presentation of Evita. The music so powerful, so strong, full of all our human emotions which are equally captivated in Vertigo. It’s unique roof top location with...truly stunning views of the simmering lights of Bangkok, to the eclectic taste of the dishes, together with our lovely hosts. Khun Saw made my visit ever so special along with the skills of our Chefs under the leadership of Executive Chef Andy. For the record I had the best ever steak in the world. The Kobe Striploin was awesome befitting the song “High Flying Adored”. Like in Argentina Evita will be remembered for eternity so too will be Vertigo.More
