Having eating quite a fair bit of thai food, we decided that we should go for some Japanese food since we are staying in an expat area.
Food is ok, normal not the best, but the decor is pretty old school japanese feel.
For an authentic Tokyo bar feel, hidden on the third floor of a non descript building this is the place for you. Affordable tit bits, skewers, Sushi and tasty authentic style Japanese this place is great.
This is an Izakaya style Japanese bar saturated in the 3rd floor in Terminal building near the Emporium. Most of customers are Japanese but recently gained Thai customers as well. Food is ok, more on atmosphere. Good place for hangout after work.
This was a great place some time ago. Very nice izakaya were you can enjoy japanese food. Place is getting old and there are even bugs around. I tried sushi and the rice was quite sweet and too much amount. The rest of the dishes...More
Imoya is an Izakaya located on the 3rd floor of a small building next to Emporium mall.
The menu has a overwhelming selection of Izakaya dishes, which makes it very difficult to decide what to order. Fortunately, the dishes are all very small portioned and...More
Excellent food, cool looking restaurant with really friendly staff. We were in Bangkok for only 2 nights and saw this in a guidebook, was fairly easy to find after we saw the 'terminal building' - up a few flights of stairs in a little building...More
My favourite Japanse vintage restaurant has a wide range of Japanese and fusion dishes.
On arrival all personnel shouts a greeting, and you always get a free appetiser and a hot towel. Sushi, sashimi, curries, soups, teriyaki, but also the Japanese version of asparagus in...More
Really good food but too many cockroaches running around. I would recommend that people don't sit in the booths but on the tables near the bar because then you can see if there are any critters roaming around under your table
I love the food a lot and go there for the fried prawns mostly and their sake. I have never been sick form eating there but they need to sort out their roach problem. I have seen loads of them on different occasions while there...More
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
