We ate breakfast at the cafe as we were staying in the Nappiness Hotel above it. We loved the food and the eggs were really tasty. The coffees were good too and we liked the service. The cafe is nicely decorated and clean. Would love to try the bike ride events but we ran out of time.

We had a wonderful breakfast in cafe Velodome. Great coffee, food and mango smoothies 😊.
As bike riders we visited the cafe and met co-owner Pai , who is a very enthusiastic (Brompton) bike rider. He is really motivated to turn Bangkok in a bike town. We were invited on a very nice bike experience, through the small streets of Bangkok. A hidden secret this cafe with a wonderful atmosphere.

Fantastic experience, a hidden gem. Staff were wonderful, food was very good and relatively cheap in comparison to the surrounding places. Would definitely come again.

Nice drinks, small but clean spaces both indoor and outdoor. Moderatly quiet place at the gate of a University and away from crowd. Perfect spot to pause after tiring of sunny, noisy, crowded atmosphere at Grand Palace which is at few minutes walk distance.

This cafe is located at the exit of the carpark of Thammasat University.
It is located about 10 minutes walk from the entrance and exit of the Grand Palace. If you are taking GRAB - this is where the drivers will drop you off. Yes, GRAB is illegal in Thailand and drivers cannot drop you off at the Grand Palace. What this means is that this is the ideal location where GRAB drivers can pick you up after your trip to the Palace.
The food and drinks are of excellent quality and value. The ambience is excellent too. It may be a small cafe (but since others do not know of its existence), there isn't a big crowd.
This is a good place for hungry souls after a crazy palace trip.

After the crowds of Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew we went a bit further than the cafes opposite entrance which were busy and overpriced standard fayre, we found this cafe 5 mins walk away at edge of University - a modern venue with chilled atmosphere. I had a very mango smoothie and my wife and iced lemon tea - refreshing, tasty and much better value than opposite Grand Palace.

Fantastic coffee place just a few minutes' walk from the Grand Palace - perfect to escape the mayhem. The lattes were fantastic. I'm only marking them down because we wanted breakfast, and the food selection was a bit limited. However, the crepe, muffin and ham and cheese croissant were pretty good! Funky interior with a long bench to sit at, and lots of books and magazines to browse.

Excellent service, staff extremely helpful, good value sandwiches and coffees and a nice little place to cool down after a walk round the Grand Palace. Because it's on the University premises, students drop in from time to time. Has working wifi too.

Ordered iced latte, strong and fragrant coffee aroma, love it! Tried the Muse home made ice cream available there, the Tamarind Plum tasted unique but just a perfect blend.
