The food is fantastic but the ambiance in the restaurant is very boring. Hey but who cares if you can serve such tasty foods.

We went to have dinner here with a Thai friend who is a bit of a foodie and she recommended we try it. My three vegetarian daughters were happy to see many vegetarian options and they could order at ease. Food tasty and well prepared....Staff friendly and helpful. Prices medium range. A nice little Thai chain! Well worth a try!More

BAAN ICE is a local Thai chain. There are 4 or 5 of them and they are all great for a quick meal or for a nice place to have a beer and a snack. The menu is home cooking from Ice's grandmother's recipes with...some great twists. Mostly seafood but not all. Portions are large. Order your food in steps, see how hungry you are after the first dish, then order the next dish. I know that is not the Thai way to eat but you will end up with a lot of uneaten food otherwise. That must be Grandma saying "eat more you are too thin"More

Loved this place! The food is very authentic and simply delicious. Great decor and very “instagrammable” with artistic shelvings and decorative pieces to pose with. Staff doesn’t speak much English though.. so that may hamper your experience if you cannot speak Thai.

variety of southern thai menus with reasonable price. be careful if you are sensitive with spicy food since they serve authentic taste which is really really spicy in some menus.

Our Thai friends took us to Baan Ice promising true Thai cuisine. It was excellent and a bit spicier than much of the Thai food we had eaten. The deep fried whole sea bass was our favourite.

Anyone here in Bangkok should try this southern food in this restaurant. There’re pleanty of delicious dishes I order 5 dishes and they were very good. Authentic flavor that you couldn’t find in elsewhere. Recommended!! Heard of its famous sister restaurant, Sorn. But i would like to try something less pricey- here comes baan ice. Restaurant design was pleasant, like a home decor with bookshelves.. lots of local Families and friends eat here on a sunday afternoon. Came here for...a late lunch, easy to find a table yet there were people eating- shows that this place packs in the crowd Off peak too.. tom yum soup was good. Right balance of spiciness and milk. For a starter i enjoyed the Fish paste wrapped in banana leaf . There was coconut milk, spices and fish meat. Portions are good for sharing. Will be back again on my next trip to bangkok!More

My relative recommended this restaurant and it was so good! It looks very spacious. We went for lunch time. Dishes come out very reasonably quickly and it is so delicious with Southern of Thailand influence food. Dishes are not very big so we can order...for varieties and some do look very good in the photo but it tastes sensational and quite unique flavours. Service is attentive and it is very well priced for Sukhumvit 55 area. Unfortunately this time we focussed too much on conversation and caching up with my relatives , there was a table of 10 pp, so food became less important but I am sure I will be back to try some other dishes as well ...More
