We were staying it Amara Bangkok Hotel (short walk away from this place). The food was amazing. The BBQ a nice experience. It was quite expensive we found and we would rate this with $$$ and not $$. Worth a visit.
Authentic Japanese food on side street off Surawong. Very nice staff. Great fun grilling beef pork seafood at your table. Nice sake selection. Tatami rooms upstairs. Very much a Tokyo feel. Well priced Great value for the money. My top pick for real Japanese food...More
Every time i go to Daimasu i leave with a big smile. The food is really tasty, the prices are perfectly matched with the value and the atmosphere is fantastic. The ingredients are always fresh, so the lightest grilling always bring the best out of...More
It was a great little spot amidst a group of Japanese restaurants - I was craving uni sashimi and they had it! Cool decor inside and we made it for happy hour (between 1700-1900) for 50 baht draft beer
The food was good and fresh but it was a bit pricey and it took some time to be served.

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
