The beers and staff here are great. There's always a great variety of Asian, European and American beers on tap. There's also the big refrigerated room behind the bar which acts as a bottle shop, stocked full with everything from the latest 'fuss' NEIPAs to...American wild/sour ales and Belgian classics. Last week the bar hosted a lager festival with a huge variety of different beers made with lager yeasts. Now I'm really looking forward to the 'sour' and 'dark' beer festivals coming up! I seem to end up popping in here every week and even during COVID I was getting regular growler and can deliveries. Would definitely recommend if you love your modern beers.More

If you like beer then you must not miss a visit to Mikkeller at Ekkamai. It is a little off the beaten track, but definitely worth seeking out on your sat nav or by taxi. The manager Roddy and his staff provide an excellent service....They are very knowledgeable about all the beers on offer and can help you select the perfect beer for your tastes. For me, "Life in the Clouds" would be hard to beat! The food menu (designed by the Michelin star chef Dan at the Upstairs restaurant) is also a treat in store. I highly recommend you take an evening to explore the food and drink menu here - you won't regret it!More

We headed over to the Mikkeller Ekamai branch for the Omnipolloscope launch. After taking 90 minutes in a Grab negotiating the 4km from home we arrived in need of beer. The beers we had were excellent, and the place was pretty packed (a lot of...young, loud hi-so Thais who had obviously been partaking of some of the 14% offerings since kick off). Service was friendly, but it seemed only one of the several people milling behind the bar was qualified to take orders, which led to a bit of a queue at times. The prices of the beers at such an event were not surprisingly astronomical, but what you'd expect given Thailands import taxes. One sour note was when I saw a can I thought I might like on the bench which had a label saying 230 THB. When they got a cold one from the fridge it went through the rigister at 380 THB! Fortunately I noticed the discrepancy before I opened it. Man at the till just said "Sorry, price wrong on can". The outside garden looked nice, but we opted for the cool inside on a damp and humid Bangkok evening. We also had a burger each. OK, but nothing special. The blue cheese mayo on my lamb burger created a bit of a thin watery lake on the place, which made things a bit messy.More

I come here every time when visiting BKK. There's always something very good on their taps and I like their cold cuts platter with the brews. I noticed that the Upstairs restaurant has new menu, will be visiting soon, again..! ;) Cheers.

It is rather difficult to find this place, but when you find it, you are here for a treat. There are 30 craft beers on tap with most of them by Mikkeller, of course. Staff was really friendly, ready to answer any questions. They brought...out all their double dry hopped ipas from their backroom, after I kindly asked them to. Good attitude. Also the barman took me upstairs, where the Michelin star restaurant (there are beer taps there, too!) was located. Did not try the food though... Over all great beers, staff, but really inconvenient location in a residential area. Take a cab!More

Our first and perhaps the most-awaited stop on the recent craft beer tour in Thailand. It didn't disappoint! Everything was perfect all the beers we tried from the taps and the food as well. They have 30 taps mostly from Mikkeller brand and we have...tried almost all of them. Next time we will do the 10-course tasting menu with BEER PAIRING upstairs! ;)More

I love Mikkeller Beers and finally got to visit this one in Ekkamai. It is in a secluded Soi and you may feel like you're going the wrong way, as it is in a residential area. But the place has a nice setting and garden,...and of course a ton of beers.More

Great beer. Awesome beer. Staff are horrible. Not one staff member made and effort to explain the beers or answer any questions that I or my friends had. I have just been back from the USA and Australia and the beer served in remarkable. I...just dont understand why the staff have to be so rude and arrogant. Each time we went to the bar to order drinks it was a total hassle. The staff were to busy either talking amongst themselves or playing on their phones. Craft beer is becoming quite popular in Thailand and others will take over if they don't get their act together. We asked our friends who live 3 streets away from Mikkeller why they keep going back and the answer ws the beer makes up for the bad service.my question is why can't they provide both?More

Right above the Mikkeller beer bar is a restaurant !! It pairs its meals with beer rather than wine. Interesting concept. I am not a beer drinker but I enjoyed a glass during the parade from the tasting menu. We really enjoyed it .. the...food was tasty, service excellent; the restaurant is relatively small, hence intimate. The dessert was to die for - I raved about it to the waiters and to the amiable chef - we got an extra one on the house. Highly recommended; the only downside ... it IS hidden so you have to find it (best ask the concierge to assist with the cab driver before you set out).More

Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor
and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and
well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in

great for a night out, the area is nothing short of

I don't remember Mikkeller Bangkok having any Cantillon or 3 Fonteinen. I have been to the bottle shop and downstairs taproom/upstairs dining about 5 times but never recall seeing these breweries. They did have Rodenbach... More
