Overpriced, average service, low quality of food, drinks and even shisha ... Don't believe that they are serving Arabic food ... The only reason I was been there that I got hungary after 2 a.m. i guess my bad luck drove me that night ...

First day in Bangkok and figured we'd get some desi food and sheesha together. The owner didn't even let us see the menu and suggested us his speciality dishes. We also ordered sheesha on the side. The owner kept insisting not to worry about how much anything costs because it will be minimal. The food arrived 30 minutes later and... More

I went to the Dubai Restaurant last week with my family in anticipation of good Arabic food, as advertised. The owner sitting outside the restaurant on a chair welcomed us with a greeting in Hindi. He said this is a Pakistani owned restaurant and served authentic Arabic food. Being a vegetarian I was looking forward to grab the falafel wrap.... More

Have eaten here 4-5 times, but have had enough of their shenanigans to not ever go back. Food is passable, but the service is horrendous. Starts with high pressure up sells for appetizers, etc. Then, if they don't have what you ordered they might take it upon themselves to make something completely different than you ordered and set it in... I know it is not indian. It's a fusion. The tandoori, naan and Dal were great. My friend expected south East Asian version and was very disappointed. To be fair the "curries" we're definitely out of a can. Stick to tandoori etc you will have a great meal.

I should have known better but after 24 hours of travel I was tired and just wanted some food before bed. The Lamb that I had was tiny and full of bones and the garlic Naan seemed to be missing the garlic and was very dry. Located next door to a 450 room hotel as well as surrounded by other... More

When you see more than 130 differents dishes on a menu, you have to worry. I love Indian food, and I eat many many Birianis in my life. Really good, and really bad. This one was... The worst. But, I can't, I really can't compare with others. It's not the good rise. No taste at all. I really can't call... More

This restaurant was close to our hotel and we were looking for an Indian diner. After having viewed the menu card of a few Indian restaurants in the neighbourhood, we chose for this restaurant, although it didn't have an Indian name. The staff wasn't pushy and we could sit outside in front of the restaurant. What a perfect choice it... More

Staying in Sathorn

Neighborhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
