I would not recommend this place. We had salads which were not very good, mine was so spicy I couldn't eat it, even though I asked for it to not be spicy. Service was rude. Everything was way overpriced.

Take the river shuttle to Tha Rat pier, (there are a lot of Rats in Thai place names), step out onto Maha Rat Road and follow the wall of the Royal Palace south until you come to Tha Tien market. Opposite is the Reclining Buddha complex and Wat Pho. Negotiate your way... More
We were a group of five, three of whom have extensive local knowlege. We chose 5 main dishes to share, incl Tom Yam shrimp soup. Food, service and wine were all top class. It probably helps to be the 'right' clientelle. There were many asians too, which is often a good sign!
