We had to wait here for waiter to take our order for more than 20 minutes, and we still haven't water even. It's not cause it too time, it cause we had to beg to take our order. Most of the guys who were taking...order was free. But each time we called them they just ignored I mean just 1 ft. At Arab Restuarant We felt discriminated since we look like Indian. We felt discrimination it 4 guys went near use with order taking slip by just looking. Finally we told hostess to take order we complain to her why no one is taking the order so we took the order. As a Muslim what I know is he are humble. And doesn't matter which race we would treat human as humans. As Muslim I don't recommend this place, they need to correct their attitude in customer service. As mulime I am not proud. Food was great but, bad bad customer service thank you cheffMore

The food was excellent it is like homemade food. I have been several times and always enjoyed eating there. The taboulet hummus Baba ghanouge mutabbal kibbeh billaban mouloukhieh are the best in Bangkok. In fact whatever you order won’t be disappointed. Good service staff very...attentive. The manager Saad he is very professional and the owner is very lucky to have him run the place. People like him are few and far between. A visit to this place is highly recommended.More

Wandered over from Bumrungrad, where my wife is having surgery. Both the chicken shawarma and the fatousch salad we’re very tasty. The lemon mint drink took me back to my time in Abu Dhabi.

Have visited several times with family. It’s good to go in a group and order several dishes and share them. Favorites include falafel, shawarma chicken, grilled lamb, fried eggplant & chips, all with Tiger Beer to wash it down. The venue is functional, not fine...dining, but the food is satisfying and the atmosphere is relaxed. There is a convenient takeaway counter at the front facing the street. Bamboo’s claim to fame is the combination of halal food with the serving of beer - it is said to be the first restaurant in Bangkok to have offered that combination - there’s open-mindedness that could win you customers and friends.More

Love this place. Great hummus chicken shawarma. Also like the chicken shawarma sandwiches. I’ve been here twice in a week—which is a big deal me.

We usually try to dine here once whenever we’re in Bangkok. It’s the kind of place where they recognize you and greet you warmly if you appear more than a couple of times, and the food is excellent. Normally one wouldn’t patronize a restaurant with...a large menu covering several different cuisines, but amazingly they seem to do everything well, with friendly and prompt service. We have tried several of the Lebanese dishes as well as some of the Thai; they’re all good and authentic.More

We came here in search of a good middle eastern meal and were very disappointed. The service was slow and awful. The humus showed up on the table 15 minutes before the pita. The pita was more a burned crispy naan than a pita. The...chicken shawarma was fatty, tasteless and inedible. The tabouli was too watery and sour and the naan with garlic was very greasy. There is no accountability or taste, yet my taste and expectations will not bring me back to this restaurant.More

Seriously, I don't get the reviews for this place, the atmosphere is terrible, the staff hang around and lean against the tables and don't even come over to you to ask if everything is ok. The stater I got was terrible, pickled unfresh dry fruit....The main meal was ok, but worth nothing near the price, totally over priced, well below street food taste. A bottle of Chang is 165 Baht! When I questioned this I was told it was a medium bottle, but this is a lie, the waiter lied to me, its a standard small bottle of Chang. Now this is the most expensive bottle I have had in Thailand. I hate liars and I knew he was lying, had that dishonest look in his eyes. Also I got some type of service charge added for about 60 baht, again a ripoff, the owner of this place does not deserve custom, avoid. Give this place a miss, its terrible, depressing and cold atmosphere. Don't pay beer prices like this.More

The worst tabouli I've ever eaten! The baba ghanoush was flavorless. The hummus tasted like paste. I would never go back.

This is a typical middle eastern style of restaurant. Its about the food and not the ambiance. Prompt service, not over friendly but decent. Food was excellent and the price was very reasonable.

I have been to Bamboo many times over many years. I like it. Just as the food has always been excellent the wait staff has always been indifferent & robotic about guest service. Expect no friendliness, no smiles, no greetings. You are invisible other than...being an organism sitting at the table that ordered food. My lentil soup was good and the falafel plate was very good. The Hummus Beirut was bland during this visit. The menu has multiple pages covering many culinary traditions, Russian being one of them. TVs are on the wall and always tuned to football/soccer. Wifi is decent. Orders are taken by only men who leave the check/bill at the table for ease of payment and departure. The robotic servers deliver the food and may or may not take the check/bill to the cashier at the entrance. I like the place and it’s always the first restaurant I visit when I visit Bangkok. I actually look forward to it. But, I’ve grown accustomed to the service indifference which liberates me to dispense with all niceties as well while there.More
