This was recommended to us by our hotel host. It is genuine thai food. It is our impression that both turists and locals go there. We also liked it very much. We ordered green curry and papaya salat with chili. Both very hot!!! If you...are looking for thai food you should try it out.More

Unassuming cafeteria in a bustling district. Very chill place to order some delicious Thai dishes. Crab omelet. Curry. Noodles. With a cold beer. Best thing we ate in Bangkok probably.

Despite its strong réputation, the food is far from being perfect.. Not too bad though, especially when cooking the near perfect squid, but still a way to go for the rest.. Air-conditioning was too high, very cold.. too cold..What saves the experience is an up-to-par...service .. At least we triedMore

Deserves to be higher up in the list. Best pad Thai and best crab curry ever had in my life. Plus it’s quite cheap compared to other restaurants of this quality.

Great local restaurant, easy to find and a great selection of food. Simple layout and decor but busy with a mix of Thai locals and foreign travellers. We got a few dishes and every single one was delicious. Highly recommend for a quick easy meal...with no frills but fantastic flavour and affordable pricesMore

This is a good place to go for some traditional thai food. We really enjoyed the green curry fried rice with chicken. It had a great spice. The crab fried rice and pad ew were good. Reasonably priced. Would recommend stopping by if nearby.

Really good traditional Thai dishes. It can get quite busy so the service is a bit slow but it is worth it for the food.

Good food, Terrible service. There are so many people working at this restaurant but the staff was uninterested in providing service to customers. We were very disappointed. Will not return.

It would be easy to omit this place if you did not know about it - it is very unpretentious, with a rather modest interior, but they serve spicy, delicious authentic Thai food. They can be very busy, but they are quick, too. Recommended.

I tried their Crab Omelette (Kai foo boo (ไข่ฟูปู)) & Green Curry. The egg was fluffy and tasty, though I couldn't really taste the crab. The Green Curry may look innocent, but it delivered a kick in the taste buds with its spiciness. When the...spiciness wears off, the richness of the milk took over. Pair the Green Cury with their plain rice (shaped in a heart shaped) to tone down the heat from the curry! The decor looked like a throwback to Hong Kong in the 80s. It was a joy eating at Krua Apsorn. Walk to Yaowarat street after that to work off the calories and enjoy the street scene.More

I'm sitting here in Krua Apsorn having an absolutely amazing experience. I found this place and looked at previous photos and was impressed. Nothing prepared me for the real thing. Our young server was welcoming and professional. We ordered our food and waited no time...for the starter. If you are visiting the Grand Palace or Democracy Monument, make the detour here.More

We could not get a booking to Jay Rafai so we searched for an alternative and read about this place. We visited it for late lunch in the Dinso Road location and found that it was not so crowded. WE ordered the recommended dishes -...fluffy crab omelet, crab curry, fried chicken wings, tom yum and sauteed vegetables with crispy pork. All were delicious! The tom yum had big shrimps and fresh mushrooms. The crab curry had big chunks of crab meat and not too spicy! The crab omelet was delicious although smaller than expected. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful meal and at a very affordable price! Just came down to about 200 baht per person (We were a group of 6!). Highly recommended!More

Let me first get this out of my way. The only reason its 3 stars is because of the service. I mean the waitress refused to take our orders just because she is cleaning another table. Point is we are here and existing customers, maybe...take our orders first then proceed to clean up a table by a customer who just left. Afterall, the restaurant was not full when we visited so there was no need to clean the table immediately. On to the food... They do have that crab omelette for B100. Its small but at that price its not bad. The Tom Yum Goong was so delicious though. Very creamy and in my opinion one of the best in Bangkok (my fave is still the street food king of Tom Yum Goong Balamphu). Its a cheaper alternate to Jay Fai's crab omelette but at B100 don't expect a lot of crabs but maybe if you order 10 of these it might make up for it hahahaha...More
