A great place to come if you have grown tired of all the thai food. They do really good home made burgers. I went for the monster burger and it was amazing (see picture) we also had the pouting which was pretty good too. Good sized portions at a reasonable price. The staff were all really friendly too.

The American food is OK at... More

We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Bangkok. Pad thai is really good, just like the green and red curry. Food seems fresh and it's not expensive at all. Really recommend this place!

Amazing food and service! Reasonable prices and good vegetarian options. It was so good I was not bothered that they played Nickelback the whole time.

Based on the rave reviews of the Snack Bar's poutine, I decided to give it a try, as this is a food I was not so familiar with. French fries smothered with brown gravy and cheese (I understand the real thing in Canada has cheese curds sprinkled on top, but here they substitute chunks of cheddar cheese). I opted to... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
