If you happen to be looking for some delicious ice cream, but are somehow tired of all the 'cliched' flavors i.e. plain old vanilla or strawberry, then IceDEA is the right place for you. Here you will find some of the most unconventional (though not...impossible) flavors anybody would associate with ice cream i.e. Wasabi, Lactobasillus Jelly, Roasted Coconut, Apple Crumble, Pink Lemonade, and even flavors that belong to Thai dessert, namely Khao Tom Mat and Foi Thong (which derived from Portuguese Fios de Ovos). Also, there are a few popsicles with interesting designs and flavors sold here, namely ones that looks like durian, mangosteen, and mango sticky rice, and also taste just like how they look. All the aforementioned items come with a nicely low price: There is not a single item that costs more than 100 baht. In addition, there is free water available in the shop. The place is on the 4th floor of Bangkok Art & Culture Centre, opposite of MBK department store, and is easily reached if you take a BTS to National Stadium station. Not only does the ice cream look like real fruit such as durian and mangosteen, it tastes like them as well. The sticky rice with mango ice cream was delicious but my favorite was the durian. And what a surprise to find pecan nuts in...the middle where the seed would be in real durian. These creative food designs are artistic genius! There are fridge in the shop where u pick the ice cream u want. This remind me of the super market ice cream.

Good ever ice creams I have had in Bangkok, in terms of taste and visuals. A real combination of art and culinary skills. Very impressive and can be illusionary too! A must try in Bangkok!

Creative and wonderful ways of presenting ice cream in nice surroundings at the BACC cultural and arts centre. Ice creams were not just delicious, but also imaginatively named and formulated. Customer service misses a more friendly approach, though. I absolutely adored my green tea and...cookies taste. The only downside is that I need to travel 7500 kilometres to get it again!More

I knew of this place from a Taiwanese travel show. They served fried ice-cream and make it look nothing like ice-cream, which is kinda fun. I've been here a few years ago and this round I came for the tonkatsu set (fried melon ice-cream). This shop is known for its innovative approach to ice cream thus the name “icedea”. We tried the well known mangosteen shaped mangosteen flavored ice cream and the durian shaped durian ice cream. This local ice cream have it own tease with creation. Variety flavor some of flavor is from Thai desert and Thai local fruits. I recommend the mango sticky rice flavor, durian, coconut and green tea. I have been there many times and never they never...let me down.More

A great place in a nice setting for some good ice cream ... Ice cream, choice of flavours, service, everything was impeccable. The only down side was that it closes rather early in the evening, much before BACC closes for the day. I wish they...could stay open at least till 8-9 PM.More

Here you can try steak, buns and other foods made with ice-cream. There are also some usual flavours like strawberry cheesecake, wasabi, mango and ect. for your convinience. Must try! Amazing place but not cheap.

We saw this center while checking out the Bangkok Art And Cultural Center [BACC].There were huge crowds outside it and so entered to see inside and were amazed by the sheer variety of Ice Cream flavours.We Were confused about which flavours to try and decided...to try "Wasabi Ice Cream" and "Young Coconut Ice Cream" with out tasting them and both shocked us.The Wasabi Ice Cream was so strong that it took 10 minutes to eat that one small scoop and the Young Coconut Ice Cream was also not that delicious.May be we tried the wrong flavours.But for creativity this center is Amazing.More

The ice cream look like other savoury dish but they did a good job in putting in different favours of ice cream inside. Favour is good and presentation is nice, a bit pricey but worth to try one.
