Saigon Recipe has no pretentious - it’s all about the food - and served in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. Despite what...other reviewers have indicated, we found the staff and service welcoming and attentive. And each of the several dishes we ordered were tasty, well presented and felt as tho they were prepared in a home kitchen (that’s a good thing!). Well worth a visit!More

Saigon Recipe is really delicious. I don't really understand all of the negative comments about the staff here. Everyone was very kind. The food was really good and really legit. (I was the only non-Vietnamese in our group.) However, the prices seemed to be a...bit higher than I would have expected. Still I wouldn't let that prevent you from going. Nice vietnamese restaurant in Sukhumvit area. Varieties of menu. Vegetarian options available. Parking lot on site but limited. Interesting choice, however personally think that the taste quite sweet in most dishes.

The place is nicely decorated, high ceiling with colorful lamps and typical furnitures. The food was great with a lot of flavors. Portions are larges and ideal to be shared. The staff did not feel really interested by the customers... waitresses were friendly but the...lady taking orders ( the manager or the owner maybe) was not even smiling and was pretty cold.. if we haven’t said goodbye , they would’ve not .. Other than that , I will recommend this place for the food and the great atmosphere. 4/5 for the food , 2/5 for the service.More

i normally don’t write a review for restaurants in my hometown as i would end up with too much work - but this restaurant is worth raving about! first if all, i love the food here. it tastes so good just like a very loving...home cooking meal your mom would make! the beautiful owner herself is from vietnam. what i love the most about this restaurant is its staff. i’ve been to many restaurants more often than saigon recipe but no one would remember that i’m a pescatarian (not that i expect them to, some of my family members never do 😂) but a staff at saigon recipe remembers! highly recommend this restaurant if you feel like healthy delicious vietnamese food with five star service!More

We came in a group as I want my foreign friends to try Vietnamese food. We ordered many different dishes including Pho Ga, Bun Bo Hue, Cha Gio Cuon La Lot, Banh Mi, Com Tam, etc. so each could have a piece of everything. The...tastes were amazing and for the most part resembled those of the food I had in Vietnam. One thing is that aside from the noodles, everything else came in relatively small portion compared to the price we paid. The noodles used for Pho Ga was not exactly the noodles used in Vietnam, but that was okay. My friends especially loved Bun Bo Hue and Banh Mi. Service was good, responsive. I was surprised the staff was not Vietnam, but that's fine. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It gives off the feeling of wartime Saigon and with wartime background music which may not be enjoyable during a meal. I also found it a little bit warm especially after taking some of the hot soup food. Overall this is a good place to introduce Vietnamese food to foreigners.More

Finally got a chance to dine here for lunch today. We tried their set lunch. My husband had beef Pho set and he praised as delicious as our favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Los Angeles 👍 I ordered their BBQ pork, spring roll set, very yum...yum indeed. The set lunch also includes Vietnamese salad or spring rolls. The serving is big but we finished all. Will return for sure Highly recommendedMore

My family often gets the take away from Saigon Recipe using food panda! It comes quickly and is something we are all satisfied by! I personally wish there were more to offer! But, the prices are reasonable and this is quite a cheap eat for...our family of 5!More
