We went to this place for dinner a few nights ago, and it was an amazing experience. We have been traveling in Thailand for the last 45 days or so, and when we walked into this restaurant, we felt like we were in Japan. The...More
We had our dinner there for new year eve .
We love Japanese food so we went for this one , the staff was super kind and reactive .
The menu offers a lot of choices and the food is on point .
Katsushin produces, by far, one of the best katsu in Thailand. Nice and crisp with thin layer of batter. Not oily. Just simply delicious of comfort Japanese food. Had miso katsu which was excellent too. Only down point would be the ambient in which I...More
Food is very good! But the pregnant manager who told that she is Owner is very rude to us! Yelling at us and said we are NOT NORMAL! Still she came to us asking again one more time what is wrong with us!
Located near the entrance of Soi Tantawan which is connected to Soi Silom 6, this restaurant is a small and really busy but the food is packed full of flavour and one dish... or the entire set which includes rice, miso soup, and salad, will...More
We ate at the Katsushin restaurant that is located near ITF Tower off Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra Soi 1. The menu has many versions of katsu items along with other seafood katsu items. There are side dishes to complement the main meal.
Despite being deep-fried, the katsu...More
Small room with a very busy atmosphere. The place fills up very quickly for lunch. Food is excellent (limited menu), the prices are decent and service is swift. A great lunch place in a neighborhood packed with tourist traps.
Coming on a weekday evening, we were served as quickly as walking in. We tried something new so our choices are the set of pork with shiso leaf and tge set of pork with cheese&avocado. The sets are included a bowl of rice, miso soup...More
Since restaurants change from visit to visit and year to year, i just want to reiterate my previous review. Please see it, January 2015. Everything I mentioned in this previous review, I can substantiate as being the same. With this consistency, it is no wonder...More
If you want a really greasy tonkatsu come here! You won't be disappointed. Plus the coating seems to be made of cornflakes and the meat is NOT ONE INCH thick as some official reviews say! Those raised expectations are the problem. Atmosphere is ok but...More
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
