Varied authentic menu, decent price, friendly fast service. Both indoor and outdoor areas are clean and spacious with tv's with the football on if that's your thing, well worth a visit. 👍👍

The environment was clean, spacious and air conditionined. We came for lunch on a Sunday and entered through the front which was not air conditioned and was brought through a sliding door which opened up to an spacious area that is air-conditioned. Parking is in...a parking area diagonally across the road from the entrance of the restaurant. 1 grilled chicken, a curry, a som tum, a fried leafy vegetable dish, 1 plate of rice plus 2 coconuts came up to slightly over 500THB. The food may have had a little more MSG than we would have preferred but the food was otherwise well prepared and tasty. There was a table of over 20 tourists and another large table of locals. Definitely a well known place.More
Great local atmospheare and good food. Pretty authentic Isan food. I think it's moved to a new place but hope the food and the atmospheare will remain.
Delicious and affordable authentic Issan Thai food with friendly staff and cosy ambience. Came here after hearing it’s the No. 1 grilled chicken - but was slightly disappointed as the half chicken portion was dry at the body area, and slightly juicy at the drum.../ wing area. Definitely had juicer and softer grilled chicken from where I came from. Could be the timing I chose (230pm); and therefore the grilled chicken had been sitting there for a while.. Nonetheless, it’s still delicious and is worth popping by if you are around the neighbourhood. Note that this is a 10-15min brisk walk from Ekkamai BTS. Do note that the original eating place is at Soi 3 (left turn into the alley from the main road). Search for “Sabaijai (original)” on Google map. The location indicated on TripAdvisor is also called “Sabaiji” and looks like your average hipster all day dining place - but seems to be a fake one.More
Tasty Esarn and authentic Thai food. "Sabai" atmosphere as its name. The restaurant is in Soi Ekkamai. Good Thai food and beer. Relax feeling. Reasonable price and good service. Also have air-con room. Highly recommended.
They are now somewhere around Ekkamai Soi 3. The former place is dismantled. Now I need more then a 100 characters. So maybe it helps that the place was well-known for the excellent food even so the interior was kind of shabby.
I call this this Sabaijai Kai Yang, Sabaijai grilled chicken, because it's logo has a chicken in it and it's famous for its grilled chicken. Located diagonally across from Healthland Ekkamai and Big C Ekkamai, Sabaijai has both a air conditioning section and an open...air section. I have never been in the air conditioning section but love the open air section. Feels like Thailand :) Good selection of food and drinks, prices are reasonable given the area, service is so so but they are busy. As mentioned, their claim to fame is their chicken but everything I have had there taste good.More
My family and I were coming from Big C Super-center and we are looking for a local restaurant around the area and we stumbled on Sabaijai Keb Tawan and it was surprisingly delicious. The restaurant is packed mostly with locals with their family and friends....We ordered: Grilled Whole Chicken - Good Shrimp Tom Yum - Very Good Spicy Squid - Good Seabass with Soy - Excellent Raw Oysters with their side sauce - Excellent super fresh! Fruit Shakes are good too :)More
Visited this place for lunch and wasn't disappointed. Ordered grilled chicken, pork and oyster omelet. Portions are huge and the taste phenomenal. Didn't see too many tourists and wasn't crowded. Perfect place for lunch. We roamed around the Ekkamai area for an hour. Loved the...food and the location.More
simple resto on sukhumvit soi ekamai. Typical and delicious thai food, try the chicken they are famous for it. Cheap and good, always full of people, I usually don't go on week end because the crowd makes the services somehow below expectations.
I stumbled upon this place after taking pictures at unfashion cafe which is just opposite. Little did i know that this place is swarming with people during dinner time. Most tables are reserved! The food is so good and the price is reasonable. Highly recommended....All these for less than 700 baht!More
Very delicious and authentic Thai food. Especially the grilled chicken. The seafood here is also very fresh. Definitely worth visiting.
It's about 10 minutes walk from Ekkamai BTS station. The food tastes mostly great, except a certain dish which I didn't like the taste of herbs and I don't know the name of the dish. The service was quite fast initially when it was not...yet crowded. We reached at around 7pm local time and the place was starting to fill up. The food comes fast and there are one or two servers who can communicate in English. The only downside of this dinner was that we waited almost an hour for our mango sticky rice and had to cancel it in the end as we didn't want to sit around anymore to wait for it - we had plans to go to the night market. Also, an order was missed out by a non-English-speaking server but the dish came quickly after we checked with the English speaking server. I think the server mentioned that they had to go buy the mango sticky rice from elsewhere hence the delay but to me, an hour's wait for dessert is too much. Nonetheless, I will still recommend this place for the food. Just dont reach too late else the wait for food may take quite long.More
Great food at very affordable prices!!It took us about 30 minutes to get here from our hotel because of traffic! After we got here, i understood why we went through all the pains just to eat here! YUMYUM!!
If you're looking for Local Thai restaurant, Visit Sabaijai- You'll find really good local food! 15 mins walking distance from Ekamai station but I recommend you to take a taxi. The weather may kill you... There is 'Heath-land' across the street, a famous massage shop,...get a massage before dinner!More
