The mango was absolutely perfect, and it was chilled which made it even better for us. The coconut sticky rice was good, but wasn’t the best we had in Bangkok, rice wasn’t warm/fresh. The large was 120 baht which is OK for the amount given.

I was looking forward to trying this mango sticky rice base on the reviews, but the mango they gave me wasn't sweet at all. :(

Great value delicious desserts. A couple of seats inside, but most people get their food to take away.

The review I read must be dated as it mentioned that it was an intimate sit-down cafe. We found that not to be the case. The mango sticky rice was sold outside the shop to-go only. Not sure if we could've gone inside the shop...because it seemed like that's where the kitchen was and you had to take off your shoes. The mangoes were the sweetest and ripest I had in Thailand by far. Highly recommend.More

Great local delicacies but missed the chance to sample the famous mango sticky rice. The shop refused to sell and apologized as the mangoes are not fully ripen/sweet enough to be sold

We were here with Taste of Thailand food tour and I'm glad that they included this stop in their tour as I would have never gone to a sweets store in Thailand (wouldn't know what is what). This bakery has been there for years and...is still making desserts for Royal family. we tasted 5 different desserts and i loved them all! Even the one with salty dried fish on top! Im definitely more of a French kind of sweets girl but this place got me very curious about Thai desserts. So if you want to try some genuine Thai desserts then might as well eat it in the best places around.More

I went to Boonsap as the final stop in my self-made Bangrak food tour on my last day in Bangkok. It's such a nice lil shop that sells all perfectly home-made delicious sorts of cakes, cookies and of cos...their famous Mango Sticky Rice!!! It's to...die for! All the cookies, desserts, cakes etc looked sooo delicious and tempting! Lovely colors! It's very smart of them to set up a table at the front of the shop and the lady will shout something like "Desserts, cookies, come and try it!" in Thai language. The business is good! Many ppl stopped by and got sth quickly without having to go INTO the shop. We chose to go inside the shop because we wanted to eat their famous mango sticky rice. We were so lucky that we're the only one inside the shop during our visit. We spent probably 45 mins inside just to chill out, slowly enjoyed the mango sticky rice and saw all Bangkokians + tourists passed by along the busy Thanon Charoen Krung. There's only one table inside, and there's no telling when it would be available. So it totally depends on your luck! Inside they've got even MORE cookies, cakes and ething!!! They were even in the process of making some cakes for catering order when we're there. The whole shop smelled so fragrant! Yummm!!! If I had bigger stomach, I would definitely devour all of their cookies and cakes :-D The mango sticky rice needless to say was DeLiCiOuS!!! Loved it loved it loved it! it has the crunchy yellow things which I'm not sure at all what it is. Nice! We bought some cookies and cakes home. And they tasted so good! Only the cashier can speak a lil bit of English. Three other ladies couldn't speak any English at all, but they are very friendly and would point me to go to the cashier with my questions :-) Make sure you stop by this shop!More

I can't stop eating Mango Sticky rice in Bangkok. I will order one at any restaurants that serves one, I just have to try the Khao Niew (Glutinous rice as well as its coconut cream) and its Mango of course. Boonsap have been dishing out...desserts since the pre-war era, and I have to say Boonsap sure serves up one of the best MSR, I have eaten. If you like you can read more about it or even see the shops and desserts picture on my blog at...... Http://isaacloo.wordpress.comMore

Located near to Pra Chak restaurant (Near Chao Phraya river) ahead of Robinson shopping mall, this dessert shop is fairly small one but it sell wide range of Thai traditional dessert and drinks such as coffee. Price range from 40 to 60 bath depending on...what you order. We tried their mango sticky rice and cofee, i have to say that it is very well done. Not too sweet and very fresh mango is the perfect taste for mango sticky rice, even local lauded the dessert offered here. Coffee prepared by them is fair, though we had taste better elsewhere but air conditioned room is a place where you can sit down calmly and enjoy a few sip of coffee. Services offered by the owner and his worker is good, they are friendly and nice people. Before you go after a tasty dessert, you can buy other Thai dessert offered in their shelf and it is of fair price and they did taste good as well. A must go place, if you want to taste the real Thai traditional dessert.More
