Superior Sushi! One of the best Sushi in Bangkok. The place is casual but the quality outstanding. Service friendly but need to improve a little bit.

The food was ok but it was very expensive for what it was. The restaurant smelt strange and the waitresses were not trained very well. They cleared plates at ad hoc moments and were standing around staring at us while we ate our meal which...was very uncomfortable as it was not very busy. Even when we received the bill, they stood around while we were getting the money together. Would not visit again as it was not a pleasurable dining experience.More

Went for dinner with a 50% discount and ended paying 3.3k THB, the most expensive meal I've ever had in Thailand and while my husband ordered a few dishes, I barely ate as I am vegetarian and the staff does not speak English so they...were not able to assist me with getting vegetarian options. Quite shocked that it ended up being so expensive for only a few dishes. Don't recommend it and won't ever return.More

This place was recommended by some Thai friends and reservations were made in advance for us both. The hostess greeted us with cold, scented wet towel and a smile and was ready to assist us with recommendations too. The food and drinks arrived within 10...minutes. We enjoyed the sushi platter which was of decent-sized salmon and tuna. All that we ordered tasted good and went well with my jelly sake drink. The edamame was also very fresh and made for a good side order. Very clean toilets and a nicely set up, interesting outdoor space. All in, a worthwhile experience. Would consider this establishment mid-to-high range, price-wise. Tip for traveller : The restaurant is located in a quiet alley which is not roo far from the main road. We walked from the MRT station to our sushi destination but decided to call a grab cab on our return trip.More

But any way I would like too try why it too expensive and my...experience was disappointed because of food wasn’t tasty and fresh enough, it wasn’t not bad but it better with half price. It is a very high quality sushi restaurant where you can also enjoy the bar style. Food is very fresh, tasty and the variety of dishes meet all the customers needs. I get the Kobe roll cooked on the stone by a direct flame of...the chef and it was unbelievable. Restaurants has 2 floors and the 2nd one has privet rooms with terrace. Place has been recently renewed in a very high level style so it’s ok for every kind of occasion. In my book it is warm recommend.More

Many Japanese restaurants in Bangkok are mostly over priced, however, Joushitsu had never failed to satisfy my needs. I have been a regular customer at the restaurant for almost 4 years, ordering both Omakase and regular menu foods. All the foods prepared are fresh and...they are willing to tell you which one you should not order. However, Omakase course does not have a set price on the menu, therefore depending on the ingredients available on the day, the price may varies. The staffs are very friendly, however, some are not able to speak in English, so there may be a language barrier for the non-Thais.More

Went for dinner. Waitresses did not speak English well thus the misunderstanding. I was informed that the omakase is priced at THB2.5K, only to find out it was not the case when the bill came. The omakase STARTS at THB2.5K, meaning you may be charged...any amount depending on what the chef served you. This is a complete shock to me. Being a big fan of Jap food, the omakase was not worth the value. It consists of 6 servings, yet none of them are impressive - they all come with ikura even the beef sushi. The whole eating experience was not authentic Jap dining experience except for the design of the restaurant.More
