I came because of shisha and um Ali! And neither was disappointing! We also had a cold mezze, veggie tagine and the veggie stuffed with rice. They were all delicious and very filling, too! Food was great and so was shisha!

It is a good experience to try Egyptian dish at Arabesque. The food was delicious, hummus with chicken was yummy, it went well with Egyptian bread. Mixed grill and rice with lamb were also good.

I've posted a glowing review on this restaurant before because I like the food, the shisha, and the atmosphere. I've brought friends here. One of them also really liked this place. However, apparently the owner also liked her. He would flirt with her, totally ignoring...me, who is also a paying customer. I don't want his attention, definitely not the kind of attention he gives to my friend. But to have 2 paying customers sitting on 1 table, and only looking at one, while the other one is practically non-existent for him, is a very unprofessional conduct. I think it's very disrespectful for me as a paying customer also, for him to not even look at me. Not even once. I sat there feeling like I was a piece of furniture, while he flirted with my friend. I wouldn't have minded if he was also still acknowledging my presence (as a customer). This happened twice already. I don't know if I 2ant to go back again with the same friend. We might have to find another place to hang out where the owner is not so sleazy.More

This restaurant has a mix of Indian, Lebanese and Egyptian food. We stuck to the Egyptian as we were with a friend who could navigate the menu. Every dish was amazing and my friend said it was authentic. Be prepared to come out in a...food coma. Lots of carb dishes. The grilled meats are great. The service is relaxed and friendly.More

As an Asian woman looking for shisha, I had doubts when googling for places that offer shisha. I usually go to a famous place in Thong Lor, but it is getting too expensive (900 Baht for shisha). When searching for a shisha place, I look...for ambience. It was what made me skip all the other places around Nana that Google showed me, and chose to try this place out. When I arrived with a friend, we were greeted by a middle-eastern looking chap, who wasn't necessarily smiling, but was otherwise friendly, helpful, and polite. He asked us whether we would like to sit inside or outside, to which we picked inside (we wanted the AC and the couches). We entered a door into what looked like my uncle's living room. Couches with coffee tables, and otherwise bare white walls. Looked quite barren and.... as my friend then said... Jesse Pinkman-ish. This comment brought to us an image that then made us burst into laughter. Yeah, we didn't want to sit in "Pinkman's livingroom"... So we moved outside where the chairs were less comfy, but the ambience was much better. The shish came, we ordered apple mint. I'm no shisha expert, so I'll leave the talk about quality to those who know what they're all about. All I know is that their selection of shisha was affordable and I enjoyed our apple mint one. It lasted for hours too. We stayed there for about 4-5 hours, and it still had a good taste. In the place at thong lor, it would've run out around the third hour. Now let's talk about what drives humans since the beginning of time: food. The food here is just... Everything I have ever wanted from a middle-eastern/indian restaurant. Amazing taste, decadent sauces that tickles your tastebuds, the texture of fresh and cooked ingredients combined.... Pair it up with a gorgeous presentation like the papadum cone appetizer in one of the pictures... And don't forget, a portion made to feed a starving 1,90m tall man until he is full. All that with quite decent mid-range prices. One thing I also loved about this place is that they are 100% halal. I'm no muslim, but if I were, I'd feel 100% safe dining here because they were so committed in being halal, that they don't serve alcohol. (Think about how much more they can make if they were to serve alcohol...) So all in all, a highly recommended spot, tucked away from all the seedy activities of Nana, with professional and courteous staff, wonderful and gorgeous food, and reasonable prices. I will definitely visit again, and again, and again, and again, and....More

Visited the place for dinner with a friend and they serve Arabic & Indian food and the ambience was decent. They also offer Sheesha for those who enjoy a smoke. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall a good dining experience.

Loved the mezze, dips and breads. Great flavours. Meat was full of flavor but some a little fatty- common in Thailand and Egypt.

Food is great and so authentic. All the dishes are also served in quite large proportion (and with reasonable price!). The staff are very nice to the customers. Their naan with hammus dips and biryani are especially good. The restaurant is Egyptian, but I would...also recommend this place if you are looking for a good place to have middle eastern cuisine in Bangkok. They also have some nice Indian food selection such as massala. Also, they set up a large screen for some customers to watch football matches outside.More
