Very busy restaurant. I had to order at the door and wait outside for a table. The Som Tam was really nice, but not as good as I have bought on the street. The chicken wings were tasty but a bit soggy. I noticed they also have a branch at Food Republic which wasn't busy at all. So, consider going... More

This is our must go place whenever we visit Bangkok. There's always a queue during meal times at the Siam Square outlet but turnover is fast. The waiter would take our orders in advance and food is served when the table is available (typically 15-30mins) hence it's not too bad unless you are extremely hungry. It's patronize by locals too,... More

Lot of local dining here. The papaya salad is delicious and the price is reasonable. Do order sticky rice instead of the normal rice.

Best som tam ever! But it used to be better... maybe move from small to bigger place make it less local. It used to be fuxking hot and spicy ,now is just very spicy lol. Dont miss the steam bamboo sticky rice! Chewy and fragrant :)

Compared to 3 years ago, the staff at the door taking your order is RUDE. The food is so so, the price is not, ordered a fish, a salad, a noodle, fried chicken wings, s coke, a cha yen,( thai iced tea) cost me 1000+ baht.

They seems giving different treat between local and tourist, cant choose your seat freely. Staff say that empty area was closed but we saw they welcoming local to sit there, this is really discrimination. We witnessed few tourist also got the same treat, would not recommended

Som Tam Nua has gained a lot of notoriety for their papaya salad so I had to try it. I'll be honest, it was just okay. When I look for good papaya salad I want that fiery kick which Som Tam's seemed to be lacking. It may seem that they dumbed down the flavor to fit the needs of tourists... More

Thai friend brought me to Som Tum Nua like 5 years back, and i haven't been back until 2016. Because my wife wants to have some thai food during lunch in Siam Square area. So I guess the safest bet will be Som Tum Nua. This visit exceeded my expectation - each dishes are just right for our palette. Flavours... More
