Nice interior, but the food and service just didn't do it for me. Taste was bland at best, service was unfriendly and uninterested.

They have amazing dimsum - found them through our Bangkok Food Walking Tour - went back four times - really really good stuff! They also have an outlet in Terminal 21 so no need to go all the way to Chinatown for this.

Nice food here! especially the dimsum i like it very much. found back the Original taste of Chinese dimsum. bit pricey, very crowded restaurant. other dishes like the cantonese way of cooking of noodle is good. but the hokkien mee totally different like what we had in Malaysia. Like the spicy dish of the scallops (not sure the exact name)

Two people go out for dinner. I order a dish. My friend orders a dish. They get their meal, I don't ? As a server how do you not recall writing it down as you drop it off. You took the order 5 minutes ago. Guess the service remarks are true.

This is just a place to eat, not a real restaurant. Simple interior without any charisma. Service crew dont even know their own menu. How could they - it has got 12 pages. Believe me, you dont need to go around china town, they claim to have everything here :) Anyway, food is okay.

The staff doesn't speak very good English and it is hard to make yourself clear. Eventually, the food was good, but my friends dish was missing and later on it appeared that the dish wasn't available. Also, when we ordered desert, they forgot us. The staff was really slow and not very helpfull. Thankfully the food tasted good.

We dined here by chance in early February and the food was varied and good - unfortunately within the last fortnight the business has been gutted by a fire. More information can be found via Google, as it was a very popular restaurant I'm sure an alternative location will spring up in no time.

Fabulous dim sum, efficient service. Very affordable prices. Although premises reminds me more of a canteen than restaurant, I would not hesitate to visit again.

Staying in Chinatown / Yaowarat

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown / Yaowarat
Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During the day, the main street and its small alleyways are filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and all-day markets. The real action, however, happens after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast on some of the best street food in town. Escape the chaos by venturing a little further from the main road and discover hidden shrines, friendly locals and daily life in its purest form.
