We had good Thai food in this restaurant. The sign board said no MSG which is a big draw for us. The food was above average and service was good.

This restaurant recently went through a renovation, and it's now quite bright and clean. It's full of silk orchids, white porcelain tiles and plenty of air conditioning. The food here has always been pretty good. The new menu has exceptionally good presentation value, and the...choice of dishes are plenty. Pretty much every time I've visited this restaurant, the wait staff I dealt with spoke little, if any, English. But they do have english menus with photos, so it was not a problem. Prices are higher than most other restaurants in the neighbourhood.More

This restaurant was a real find, a surprisingly good backstreet restaurant behind the Asia Hotel. Staff spoke little English, but was willing to help and smiling, and they do have an English menu. We ordered Larb Gai, the warm minced chicken and ground rice salad,...which was excellent, one of the best I have tasted in a long time. It was perfectly spiced with a great dressing, and served with slightly steamed green beans, crunchy cucumber and sprigs of mint and other fresh herbs. A delight! The morning glory were nice and garlicky, and the tofu with chili and holi basil was also exceedingly good: crispy on the outside, and soft inside. There was no dessert menu, but they do sell delicious ice cream in small tubs. After Chiang Mai, the bill of THB600 with tip, but drinking only water, seemed a little expensive, but is actually very reasonble for Bangkok. - and we enjoyed a great tasting dinner! The restaurant is very clean, and the décor is pleasant and homely. It was not full when we visited, but there was a constant stream of locals coming in to eat - a good sign. Had we stayed longer in Bangkok, we certainly would have gone again.More

Cosy restaurant just around the corner from Asia Hotel. Friendly helpful staff. The meals are so good we kept going back trying something different and never disappointed.

The restaurant is near the BTS station Ratchathewee. You reach it easy by using the exit Asia Hotel. It can be seen on the opposite side of Soi Phaya Nak. In case you want to eat really cheap come at lunch time monday to friday....There is always a choice of three dishes for about 80 baht. The portions are not too large. Make your choice ala carte and you find Thai food a little different from the mainstream. The Tom yam goong ( spicy shrimp soup ) is less spicy then normally but very tasty and you get large shrimps in the soup. Chicken with cashew nuts is also different, spicy and crispy with more ingredients. The cold chrysanthemum tea will come as refill and not sweet. Also nice is tofu with thai basil, spicy. You pay a little more but you get also more taste than in other restaurants of this class . The room is nice decorated. The stuff don't speak much but when you ask they are helpful.More

I have been here a few times, always the top choice whenever having friends from overseas over or just normal dining with family and friends. Location is very convenient, located by the side of Asia Hotel - a few metres from BTS sky train Ratchatewi...station. Food is definitely delicious. Authentic Thai, pad thai, tom yum, and coconut chicken soup are highly recommended. Price is a bit higher comparing to other dining places in bangkok. But the taste and atmosphere plus service of the staff can't be beaten up! Local herbal drinks are free refilled (jasmine tea, Chinese chamomile and another thai herbal drink - forget names). Three if them are listed in the drink menu. Serve in a big glass size. And free refill - best! Atmosphere is very nice. The tables and decorations are of comfort style. Best to come with family or in groups. But solo travel isn't a problem! Food comes in a slightly bigger in size than normal average thai restaurants. Son if u come alone....be prepared to finish all up! :)More

My husband and I love Thai food and eat it regularly. This place by far had one of the best Thai meals we've ever had. In fact, their coconut chicken soup was probably the tastiest thing I've ever eaten. The food is clean and fresh....It seems like this is the place local go to eat on special occasions as it was filled with large groups of Thai families and the prices are a little higher than some of the other more casual dining places around the city. Definitely order the coconut chicken soup. It's amazing!More

This restaurant is 20 metres from the side entrance of the Asia Bangkok and is a comfortable little place that serves good quality Thai fare with a relaxed feel. The only criticism that we'd have was that, on the evening that we were there the...air conditioning was set so low that my wife had to return to the hotel for a sweatshirt! A small complaint as I'm sure that there were only trying to please their Western guests. Food and service good , price a little above average for Thai but all in all, wirth a visitMore
